Don't let it put you off, I always worry the night before the sale that its gonna be chaos but in my store both years its not been too bad! 1st year I got there too late so was v. busy and you could hardly move once you got stuck in an aisle, but this year I arrived before opening and there was about 10 of us that got a 5min look round before the swarms of people (realising the 75% off was on) flocked in. None of this awful behaviour in my local when I was there either yrs, but if it did come to this I would stop going, dignity and safety is way more important than getting some nice stuff heavily reduced.

Also hope those that stayed up and ordered early get there dispatches soon, really not on for boots to do this to the people that have stayed up all night waiting for the sale to go live x

Right - just got off the phone with Boots again! I didn't get the dispatch email - my order went through 3:15 Wednesday morning. Ive just had my parcel with 1 item (the baking set) missing. Apparently, they are still trying to locate it, but the missing item is the reason i didn't get the dispatch email (!?) and they are still expecting to be able to send it.
Mahoosive box with all the items rattling around as well!

I've just checked order status and tracking and should be here between 9.30/10.30am
That's the large order £85 other one £25 collect from store Monday
Now need to sort loft out this afternoon once comes to put it all away

I've just received parcel 2 of 2 of an order I placed first day of sales at 4.15. I had no dispatch email and online it still states processing. On Thursday I had rang boots about another order which after dispatch got returned to warehouse. The warehouse didn't check why returned and just refunded my points and I didn't know any of this until I rang asking why I had been refunded my points. Turns box damaged. She reordered this item for me and arranged Saturday delivery (this was not in the 75% sale). I also asked about my order placed on first day of sales and she told it was n the warehouse and would be delivered today by Dpd in 3 parcels. So as I said no dispatch emails and one parcel delivered at 9ish. I rang boots and at present I have been told that parcel 1 of 2 exists but at present they don't know where it is. The other parcel gods knows. He is looking into it and ringing me back. Seems they are getting alot of complaints about missing and broken items. I did mention that all my items were just thrown in a box with no packaging so was slightly concerned about my other box which has China in it.
Just had phone call back and it seems that 400 orders got stuck in the system which were due for delivery today. These seem to be orders with more than one box. So you may receive part of your order today but had no dispatch email and the rest of the order will be delivered on monday.

me too!! Im livid as I really wanted a ted baker set and I too saw them in store but didnt bother since I'd managed to order online :mad:

Looks like Boots have as usual well and truely messed up a load of orders this year. I'm sorry to everyone who missed out. I had the same problems the last online sale I ordered from and now don't even bother with it, much too unreliable. Better to brave the instore scrum, at least you know what you've definitely got at the end of the day. Or get both, you can always return if the online order does actually turn up.

I also ordered the baking set. Still no dispatch email and account status unchanged.

My second order which I'm due to collect on Monday contains a ted baker set and was ordered at 0830hrs on Wednesday morning.

So frustrating.......

My 2 boxes arrived in good condition. Boots didn't take time to wrap the items so DPD did a good job handling the package.

However, beware of missing items! I was charged full price of my order but found out they didn't send me the most expensive item I ordered! Double check your orders!
