Dpd normally do txt They did with my Xmas eve 50% sale stuff
It was also something random like 11.51-12.51No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -
Both mine are showing as despatched and i ordered between 7.30 and 8.00am??
Maybe it depends how big and what the order includes as to how they are working through them? Mines slippers and a couple of sancutary sets and then 2 ted sets on a different order
Its just let me order the topman sets with beanine hats as well - although i expect this to be canx lol
That is such a slap in the face for those that waited up all night and are still waiting for dispatch confirmation.0 -

I've had this happen with loads of differen websites, people who have ordered stuff after me after get it & I don't
It's as if they work from the top & not the other way around.
I would love to know how this seems to happen on a regular basis, why are the early orders at the bottom of the pile so to speak.
I placed all of my orders very soon after the sale started.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Just waiting to hear about the 3rd order now. Need to go out to my WW class in the morning so hope they come while I'm in or leave it with a neighbour - assuming they turn up at all. I'll have to get up extra early to have a shower in case they come very early.
Does anyone know whether they send text messages or phone to say they're on the way? I've had quite a few couriers do that in the past but not sure whether DPD is one of them.
DPD usually send an email giving an hour time slot that they will deliver within, usually accurate in my experience.0 -
Re the orders, it may not necessarily be the time of the order that is the issue but whether there is stock at your providing warehouse as I don't believe boots stock from one single warehouse for the whole country? No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. I ordered around 4am one order for me (small - no mates) and one for my sister (bigger - too many friends), both as pick ups as did not trust things to be undamaged.
No email but showing as dispatched on boots site for pick up monday.
Don't think its to do with the amount of the order or the time, think sjprmc01 may be right its more likely to do with which warehouse is sending out your stuff.0 -
Got despatch email about half hour ago. I had ordered 5.35 wednesday morning. Looks like everything I ask for Im getting.
Hope everyone gets their parcels.0 -

But then that means people in certain areas don't get certain things no matter the time they order? So, someone who orders 7 hours later, in a different area gets an order and you don't?
If that's how it works it doesn't seem very professional, or give you confidence in the reliability of placing orders.
You would surely think if they are selling items for hours after you've placed your order they must have them. Or at least, I think that's what most people expect when ordering from large retailers like Boots.0 -
I'm also disappointed after placing my order at around 5 am to have about 1/3 of the order cancelled and not received the full £15 off voucher I used. I've had no problem ordering from Boots in the past and am both surprised and disappointed to find their stock control system appears to be plunging towards the depths of Marks & Spencer and Tesco's.0
