Mrs M aww DS parents evening made you smile that is lovely news, I'm like that with mine (still and they are 26 & 30 ) always very very proud but love it when somebody else notices too. I do wish you were looking after one of my DGDs you sound perfect, your class will love your stockings, what a very thoughtful thing to do. I love the photos of your makes but need them bigger please. Did you finish your wizard of Oz stocking for your friend? Or decide to keep it till next year? I hope I've not missed photos. I make a few notes as I'm reading along so when I reply I hopefully don't miss anybody, can't rely on my brain unfortunately. I watched Elf yesterday I just love it, it's so uplifting isn't it? xxx

Woo hooo I am your sister from another mister. I've presently got soft cotton burning in my new white wax burner asda £7 and as an alternative white lace in a burner we already had. Prefer the soft cotton, bought a couple more tarts and some little samplers till I find my favs The lady on the till in asda did give me a good tip (you experts will already kno-I'm sure- but in case we have any Yankee virgins like me!) she suggested I cut the tart into quarters as they last so long, get to change the scent more frequently And wait for it my DH loves them!!! He who has no opinion is addicted - no more plug ins which irritate my chest. Win win. Thank you xxx

Feisty I do think enough is enough now with DHs treatment, I've never know anything like it. We are so very very lucky to have centres of excellence on our doorstep. Does DHs hospital have a PAL Patient Liason office? I think all hospitals do now but it'd be worth checking. On a happier note Nigellas frangipane I've been doing a few years, always adored specially DH, DD and BFF Freeze well too Your hamper looks fab, a very thoughtful gift as always xxx

Oh no Linky I've no experience of ring worm in adults although I've seen it in the scalps of children many times (think its a different type tho) the cream will clear it, don't be worrying. It'll not do any good to you OCDness tho will it? xxx

I need more hours in a day!
Plus side of today we have figured out what we are getting mum we have bits and bobs but her big pressy we are going to get her a tablet, they can be way cheaper than I thought they were! However now I need to find a way of discretely getting mum to spend more on dad to even things up parents are a headache! We're currently on about £150 one of which is exciting vs £50 of none exciting damnit !

I am so tired right now, it's been a long day

Evening all gosh I am beat, had my goddaughter all day she is 8 months and the cutest little angel however since being mobile you have to be on your toes lol! Then spent this evening with mum and another auntie nibbles wine and catch up lol

Let things get to me earlier but thanks to Linky and nana I am so over myself.

Looks like another night with little sleep, DS has still not heard from hospital and they are not returning my calls. Think I may go back up there if not heard anything by Friday.

Most of christmas prep is done, just lots of tidying now. I am looking forward to christmas now but looking forward to a fresh start at the New Year even more. X

I've tried anbesol, strepsils which seem to be the only thing that helps for more than a minute and chloroseptic sore throat spray which works too.


On a plus note I've lost 7lb because it hurts too much to eat!
