We have just decorated the tree, I'm gutted that I can't find a whole box with my nice decorations in it and the 3 elves that usually come on the 1st :( the kids will be so disappointed tomorrow morning,
I have hunted high and low.
We moved house on Jan the 14th this year, so not sure where they went. They will be somewhere, but they are not turning up.

Trying to think what I can do to stall the kids. Was going to put their advent calanders out in the living room, then do footsteps in talc and a note saying they had to dash back to see Santa as their was a shortage of Lego this year lol x

We had friends In the bar in Glasgow last night. We have drunk in there a few times, thank fully our friends ( it was the band that was playing) got out safely and unscathed. But it's awful to think of those poor people not coming home from a night out :( x
glad your friends got out safely. such a tragic accident my thoughts go out the families and friends of those involved :(

  • Got the presents out today to make yet another new list of what we have and whats still to get. Not doing too bad so far.

Had hoped to have made a start on the cards tonight but I'm a bit tired now and I really want to watch Strictly and XFactor so it's looking more like tomorrow now.

Seeing as it's 1st Dec tomorrow, I think its time to get my Christmas mug out and a Christmas cd for the car - what do you think? :D

Up til now hubby and I are planning a shopping trip on Monday.

Done my first Sainsbury's online shop (had a £15 money off code for £60 spend). Kept it simple - ordered some Christmas drinkies so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow evening as planned.

Hope you all have a good evening.

Well today I'm shattered, done very little and have even less GUAG :( early (for me) night and hope tomorrow is better I think.
Freespirit I hate having my photo taken too, from being little. There are very few of me in existence ha. At DDs graduation we were queuing for the official photographer, as you do and I asked if it was ok to have DD and DH in the photo, the photographer was only to happy to oblige (for a small fortune) and they wouldn't have it taken unless I was in it !!!! I knew right then that it'd never be displayed :( total waste, would they listen. Ha. Strangely one of the canvases I'd order for the living room came today, it's gorgeous an old photo, well 15 months of DH and both VDGDs before DS went to Oz :) I love it :) One more on its way of DGD2 need a decent photo of DGD1 then I'm done. Son from another Mum came home this evening on weekend release! Ha, glad to be home, back in the morning for check up tho. Still no real answers but more tests to be done, looks like every avenue is being explored, so no news is good news xxx

NANAMIA hope you have a good nights sleep tonight, yep i have been like it since i was young, im just not photogenic, the kids have always joked that when im gone they wont have any piccies of me :rotfl:so i couldnt disappoint DS on his graduation, he didnt go for the official one it was £150  Aww i bet the canvases are beautiful, are they going in the new LR? Aaah glad DS friend has been let out what a shame he has to go back in morning for check up though, is the hospital near to him? Hope he is alright in his self and its not all getting him down because that wont help at all will it, bless him! I do think of him a lot, its so sad.

Tonight's been lovely! Can't remember if I mentioned but I am on amoxicillin as of today as I have a lovely sinus infection! Hoping it eases up as the last two times I've had it scans at hospital showed it causes probs with my shunt!
    That's my moan!
Hair cut due Wednesday can't wait!

Aww JJ hope you arent in too much pain and the antibiotics kick in soon, that is so painful, and that is the last thing you need it causing problems with your shunt, sending you hugs my lovely
Am going to write my Christmas cards this morning and get them posted today.
I hate this job so want to get it out of the way! I am definitely going to do what a friend did, she wrote this years as she took down last years! Excellent idea :T:TAre everyone's decorations going up this weekend then? :xmastree::santa2:
Think i might let my tree settle tomorrow then dress it on Monday, as last year we did the lights and decorations then it settled and it looked odd, like your friends thinking haha

whats happened in Glasgow i havent seen or heard anything today?

A police helicopter crashed into a packed pub last night. At present 8 are confirmed dead and 14 are in a serious condition in hospital. There are still people in the building. :(
