morning, waiting to be skyped so l am pootling about achieving nowt. (well, little 5 minute easy-to-leave tasks) so l decided to catch up with my friends here. Much more rewarding.
I have rearranged the front bedroom to accommodate my crafting table and sewing machine, so can I be posh and call it my crafting room?
The conservatory is ready to decorate now, but it will have to wait, as grandma sister is coming to see me this morning to get some books onto her kindle. (she doesn't have internet) and DGS and his dad may, depending on the weather, cut some of my jungle down.
I love the idea of festive antibiotics, ideal present for the person who has everything!? lol.
OMO thanks for the Christmas programme list, Skype...... byee0 -
Morning all!
Tree is up! Put it up yesterday with a glass of prosecco and some christmas songs, really pleased with it - it might be wonky, the decorations might not match, and we probably should have distributed the christmas lights a bit better, but it's OURS and I love it!
Also, I've got two advent calendars! I bought one myself (coz I'm a big kid lol!) and mil bought me one too, so I think I'll take one to work with me...it has jokes inside every door, so I can share the joke with the office (not the chocolate though. Never the chocolate.)
Really good to get a look at the Xmas TV - one of my favourite traditions is getting the radio times at Xmas and sitting with a highlighter pen and marking all those xmassy films and specials that I want to watch!
Does anyone know when it's out this year? I'm guessing it won't be long I think the one in the shops at the minute goes up to dec 6th xx0 -
Morning all & happy first day of December.
Tree is up, just need to decorate it. Put up some of my gbpshop buys, a sparkly multicoloured XMAS, a set of Gold, silver & purple reindeer & a multicoloured tinsel garland. I picked up the lights from tesco last night & have garland of lanterns to put up somewhere, thinking kitchen window, it is 6ft sq so 40 lanterns wound be overcrowded on it.
DS got a choc coin & a chelsea fc snow globe this morning from the christmas elf in his advent calendar. He was chuffed, totally bought that there is such a thing as a christmas elf & is happily pondering whatelse it will bring in the next 24 days
Hope you all have a good day.
Making toad in the hole for dinner with red onion gravy & braised leeks, today is a comfort food day for sure.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Can we please have some tree pics. I have lost my Christmas mojo.
Robbie has just left to go to a party, and I really should get cracking and wrap some presents and sort out some decs, but I can't be bothered.
I am sitting here watching a Christmas movie in the hope I get some get up and go.
I'm actually quite glad I have to go back to London in 2 weeks. It might give me some Christmas spirit back.
We have been invited out for Christmas dinner, ds is fine about it ( shock, horror). We are going to have our Christmas dinner here when we have Robbie.
Am off now to do the task list, as I can do that sitting here.0 -
