lol freespirit! its hard very hard not to put it on... i spent a good 16 years of my life overweight.. its taken that long and lots of horrid negative thinking etc. Touch wood i'm very nearly there! lol and believe me if i can do it anyone can.. looking back i'd happily sit there and eat multi packs of crisps, sweets, chocolate, on top of whole packs of chips, chicken nuggets etc... wasn't in a good place at all 10 years ago when my then dh walked out on us, taking all our money and leaving me with 3 girls in a house i couldn't afford so we moved 400 miles away back home. .. but thats a whole other story lol. positive thinking is the key!!! i've made a life change i never went on a diet!.
I keep thinking of things to buy the girls.. they have lots already but still. i've been asking my dh for months what he'd like for xmas nothing was the reply... so i went and got a number of little pressies.... then yesterday he actually asked for something (which i no longer have the money on stand by for) tough! lol
I really really must start wrapping next week, not wrapped a single pressie! ahhhhTotally debt free wohooo 2014

Wow you lot can chat
I love hearing about your days and festive preparations!
nanmia how are you lovely?
omo how horrible for you and dd , sadly a lot of people don't deserve good people in their life's! I don't blame you and dd for staying away! My dad has 13 brothers and sisters a mum and dad countless nieces and nephews which are my cousins and I speak to one cousin if I bump into her that's it! The drama they've caused and impact on mum and dads failed marriage is just irreversible so I walked away best thing I've done! Karma will bite back soon enough
msgiiglewick I have battled lots with wright too! Well done on all your progress lovely!
mrsmoneypenny I got my first Xmas card a few days ago really starting to feel Christmassy!
naughtyspot lovely photos x
Well I'm back in Hampshire! My eldest goddaughter screamed and cried and begged to be able to come home with me I stood sobbing by the coach however just three months and I will see them again! Edinburgh market was ok nothing overly special just lots of food and drink stools and some candle and snow globe stools , it looked very Xmassy though! I brought goddaughters some very overpriced pick a mix sweets but that's it !NanMias - cyber granddaughter!

Evening.
So glad it's Friday. People are still turning up to buy bits and dds phone is still bleeping.
Just got to wrap 5 presents tomorrow and this weeks tasks are done.
Love the hamper jj
Naughty Spot your garden centre puts ours to sham. But it's nice to know some still make an effort.
When an update on next door-
Dd phoned me today at work today and held the phone out. Next door were going at it hammer and tong.
She was shouting at her partner ' I could lose this house and you don't care, it's all the fault of that c*** next door'
( that would be me)
So I came home ready to face her and give her a mouthful, but she has stayed hidden indoors.
So maybe the fraud team have finally taken notice. Who knows.
Dd made me laugh. She said ' You won't believe it, not only is he claiming single parent benefit when he isn't a single parent but he is claiming poverty benefit as well'
When I asked her what she meant she said ' when next-door were shouting she told him to stop claiming poverty ! He just claims everything doesn't he !!! ' :rotfl:
Freespirit dd is bit like me. As long as she is busy she if fine. It's when she has nothing to do that she starts thinking. Then she gets upset.
I think that maybe this a bit of a release for her. My mum was asking her to do loads of stuff. I have told her loads of times to say no but she didn't like to. Now
She doesn't have to worry.0
