Had an email this morning from my godson's mum. Santa can only deliver some stuff to the UK, so can it be delivered to me, then I have the responsibility of taking it home with me  Better have good weather the days I am driving, can deal with cold, best part of 500 miles driving (not forgetting the ferry!) in wet weather is not good.
Anyway, need to think about making fudge as gifts, if I make it this weekend, will it last until Christmas - know it won't be eaten as I loath the stuff.A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Do you mean as presents? I put mince pies, shortbread, fudge, cookies in mine hth, also you asked about fudge i dont make it until later, but i did read the other day that it can be frozen, now i dont know if it was just that recipe or fudge overall, the trouble is there are so many different recipes all made with different ingredients.#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
if they can fit in your Christmas cakes then all you need to do is put in lots of tissue paper around the cakes and you are fine.. I thinkGettingtherequickly wrote: »Thoughts please. Brain not in gear, didn't think of that. I don't decorate my cakes as most recipients prefer to eat them long after Christmas, when there is nothing nice in the house to eat!A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
Today I managed to:
1. Get some cards (have some, wanted some new ones)
2. Get niece and nephew presents.
3. Get FIL another small pressie to go with main one.
4. Sit and talk to friend for ages and generally feel quite happy!
Hope everyone is doing fine.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.
