Hi all
Well I had a wonderful Christmas Day and was thoroughly spoiled.
Have already had a look at the online sales and picked up a few bits for next year - most unlike me
Having a total PJ day today - just had a bacon bagel for brunch and sitting with OH watching the Downton Abbey Christmas special. Going to make trifle soon and it's pasta and garlic bread for dinner tonight - YUM. We are going to spend the day well and truly on the sofa today AND tomorrow! OH is going into work for a few hours on Friday but then I am going to meet him and we'll go to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park if it is not wet, but if it is we will just head straight to a pub for the eveningthen it is my birthday on Sunday then New Year's Eve.
I am feeling very content and happy
Sorry to hear about those who didn't have such a good day. Makes me feel a bit guilty for being so happy
Loving the new thread!0 -
good afternoon all, been 'lurking' on 2012 thread since Oct'/Nov, didn't join in much, but I have had a go at some of the ideas and all seem to have been appreciated.
I guess that means I need to start earlier this year and do more home made gifts for family and friends.
B'day 4th April0 -

Had a lovely day yesterday but OH woke up in agony at 4.30 this morning. After telephone conversation with out-of-ours doctor my father drove us to the hospital. Probably kidney stones! OH on strong painkillers and back in bed. Mum and dad have gone home and I'm left feeling a bit down. Hate seeing him pain - all I can do is keep providing hot water bottles and liquid.
Hope your Boxing Day is better than mine!0 -

I have the greatest sympathy for him. I had them in the summer. Would rather give birth everyday. If someone had said cutting my right hand off would stop the pain, I would have let them do it. The only thing that worked for me was morphine.0 -
Spent the morning taking down the tree and decorations. Only entering the kitchen if I really have to (shall tackle it tomorrow). Ordered a few bits in the sale for next year, decided its going to be a very mse year.
I have some nice notebooks and diary to get myself mega organised next year. Determined to lose weight, get a tad healthy and save some money. I think this year coming I HAVE to make some lifestyle changes.
Better finish the chocolates off quickly then0
