Linky omg what else is there to say. I've popped over and looked at the offending thread:( I can't believe there are people on our forum like that! Stay here with us. You really should have "shared" with us we would have been far more helpful.

Nobody should ever feel that they can't vent, rant, laugh, cry, shout, scream or giggle on here we are all here with big broad shoulders for each other.xxx

(Not spoken to my YKW for a couple of years, best decision I made) xxx

    Thanks Nanamia,

Think I learnt my lesson today, although some really nice people stood up for me. She then turned on them, which did her no favours. I have blocked her now, so I can't see any of her posts. Most people on there blocked her as-well. She had her own thread about being alone, but then she got nasty on there and I showed everyone what she had said, and they turned on her as-well.
Maybe she also learnt her lesson today.

You most probably now most of this if you have read the thread.:o

Morning. Merry Christmas. I didn't get on yesterday as we spent 4 hours driving to Dads, then it was busy busy.

I had a lovely day. Got some lovely pressies. And everyone was happy with what us and Santa brought them.

We were out for our Christmas dinner. It was our and my bil's family joined. So their was 20 of us which included 6 kids.
The meal was beautiful and was totally different for us, so it wasn't too sad without Mum. it was nice to stress about keeping everything warm and dishes.

We're off to OH's family today to do it all again.

Hugs to those whose day didn't go as planned.
    X

Its boxing day already and we haven't even finished unwrapping all the presents yet. :)

Just popping in to say hello.
Had a fab fab time yesterday and the fun continues today. Hampers went down a treat. OMO my sister really like the chocoloate hamper and she is keen on trying out the chocolate book from poundland I told you about. She was also super keen on the betty crocker chocolate chip cookie mix packets I got from sainsbury for half price (approx 80 pence). They have a very long shelf life and they come on offer regularly over the year.

Might actually get round to watching the snowman today. :D
Hope you all had a great time yesterday.
  • Off to MILs today to have our second Christmas. I won't be doing any of the cooking today so should be a lot more relaxed for me! :)

Hope everyone else has a great day.

  • Oops, sorry, didn't realise we had gone next door already! Here's my post from L I S earlier today:-

Hi everyone , Happy Boxing Day!

Thought I'd pop on quickly before the thread closes - when will that be OMO? Are we on here till the 31st? ( Have already joined the new thread, thanks again, but will stay here until given the orders to jump ship - sorry, the spaceship reference is catching! ).
Also OMO - how dare anyone be nasty to you! Some people just seem to enjoy upsetting others. Good thing you have us on here!

CHRISSYG - sorry your birthday didn't go to plan. Did you get Christmas presents, so at least had somethings to open?

Big hugs to all who feel a bit let down by it all. We work so hard and for so long, to make Christmas "perfect", that when others don't feel the same, it takes the shine off.

Now feel a bit guilty for saying, but we had a lovely day with my mum.( We already had our big "Christmas Day" on the 15th, with ds and ddil , as they could't be here on the 25th.). So yest it was just me, oh, dd and mum. Everything went to plan, no stress, laughed so much my sides ached, and wonderful presents all round! Everyone was delighted with their gifts, both mum and dd were amazed at the special things we found for them. OH is notoriously hard to buy for ( aren't all men ) , but I really surprised him with his main pressie - a gliding experience day! He can't wait to go.

However he did return the surprise, as my main pressie was a Sissix Big Shot! ( It's a crafting cutting machine, for any non crafters out there). He knew I'd been umming and ahhring over which one to get, so he decided for me. Can't wait to start playing with it today!

One of dd's surprises from us was theatre tickets ( just me and her, girly night), to see Romeo and Juliet. It's her favourite Shakespeare, and she loves going to the theatre - she was thrilled!

Sorry for the long post, can't stop once I've started! Going to have a pj day today ( anyone else do that? ) and just relax.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care all xxx
