Great thanks, explains it perfectly. He will love that, off to order it. X
I love snow too. When we first moved to Aberdeenshire in 2010 it was the mega cold winter. We moved on the 1st of Dec and there was over 2 1/2 foot of snow lying and meter long icicles hanging from every building. It was magical. It's snowed off and on all dec and didnt clear til late Jan. it's was so deep, my 3 year old couldn't go out as it went up to his waist lol x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

pigpen, what a cutie!
So sorry I have been awol - yesterday was a long and tiring day and I am swamped with orders!
The hospital news was much better than fearedThey 'think' they may be able to tweak his medicine and give him so relief
They need to do some more tests (including a catheter needle into his heart through his throat eeek!) and he will need one op, but all in all I left feeling more positive then I have in yonks!
It's our four year anniversary today and we didn't even manage to exchange cardsWe are both gutted as are lucky enough to have an amazing marriage and are so caring and considerate to each other.
With that in mind, I'm after some advice - following on the shop saga, we have taken an average of £25 the last few Sundays we've been open (all day sadly) and we are due to work all day this Sunday too. I'm considering sneaking out and buying lots of DH favourite food to hide, and then on Sunday when we get up to go to work (both feeling very grumpy that it's going to be a day stuck in a cold, damp shop with no customers) I can shout surprise, we're having a duvet day with nommy food.
The downside to this is that some customers may on the off chance (not likely) trek out to the shop just to look (we've nicknamed it the museum) and then get annoyed that we are closed?

fiesty I say do it you can always put a note on facebook saying your closed ect but tbh I don't think its likely your gonna miss much in the way of sales and you and dh deserve some time esp after the stress you've had the last couple of weeks. glad to hear you had some positive news though obv the test is  hopefully its the start of better things
pigpen what a cutie I really miss that stage
msgigglewick congrats on becoming an auntie do feel for your poor sil 34hrs
we don't tend to get much snow and I do sometime wish we had more as it looks so beautiful & xmassy but much as I love it I don't enjoy the worry & stress it brings for people who drive for a living.this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -

I would close the shop with a note on the door saying you are closed due to unforeseen circumstances, and have it in fb too.

Mrsgigglewick - congrats on becoming an auntie, you must have a look at sainsburys christmas outfits for bubs, I believe you can find them on their website under christmas, they are adorable and great quality :-)
Pigpen - so cute, they are lovely at that age,
Feisty- your duvet day sounds like a great idea, you both still need a break too and it sounds like a good day to do it on, you'll both be refreshed and more positive from having a day off and you deserve it and need to celebrate you anniversary too.
Does anyone have any buffet food recipes that freeze well, I keep trying to google it but not many show if you can freeze :-(
Off to the norfolk christmas gift and craft show on Sunday with dh and ds, better make the most of it before dh has to work weekends again.
Hope everybody is having a productive week :-)0
