  • I just had the same mkgirl, i've never had to scroll down that far before!

Thanks freespirit, i'll definitely let you know how we get on!

I found out an exciting fact the other day - when my boss was young her teacher asked her class to write letters to Father Christmas, well hers was picked and was the letter used in Santa Claus the Movie! For you die hard Christmas fans it's the letter that talks about her brother being mean to the cat, I think in the film the little girl that wrote that was from Victorian times or soemthing like that, but it was the letter my boss wrote to Father Christmas! There must have been some sort of competition at the time the film was being made that her teacher entered them into and hers got chosen. I was so excited about this - even more so than her!! :D
    Thats so cool

  • I've not caught up yet but been to lidl today, thanks to whoever it was said about the clear plastic gift wrap stuff (ha technical name for it there ;)) I got some with red stars on it :D
They also have some really pretty wrapping papers, and pretty rolls of tape, the little ones like fit in the dispensers in packs of 8 two packs for £2 I also may of accidentally bought a pack of stollen and pasta which is shaped like Christmas trees and stars :D (amongst other things which were far less Christmassy, I do hate lidl they trick me into spending money! but we did get a lot for £20 so I'm not complaining)

Such lovely positive festive vibes today on this thread!

I made Xmas cookies today which you will all find hilarious as I'm so rubbish at baking! I also listened to Xmas songs earlier! This evening I need to wrap goddaughters presents and more Xmas presents plus I need to write Xmas cards and dry clean laundry for Scotland xx
