Ah man , I can't remember any more names and posts! Will start jotting them down so hugs and how are you's all round!
Today has been lovely and Christmassy! My gorgeous Goddaughter who is 7 months and me and her mum went to our local garden centre type thing called Keydales the Christmas displays are wonderful , Christmas carols echoed throughout and we saw the real talking parrots , a pig and the duck pond too! My mum is known as Nana to my Goddaughter so we have her tonight! She's snoring opposite my bed in her little travel cot!
I keep getting odd signs to do with my shunt , now a lot of it I think is to do with anxiety about travelling to Scotland , I have done it so am any times and know London and Edinburgh so well! But haven't been for a year due to all the brain surgeries! I know I will be fine but anxiety is trying to get the better of me!
I have been working off a too do list as my memory is pants! And have got some stuff done this week ,
Anyway I'm sorry I have rambled! Hope your all well ! XxxNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

Enjoy your trip Junior J, I am in SW Scotland, not far south of Glasgow. I do like the Fife area. my Oh worked in St Andrews for a year, it's a lovely place. You will be fine traveling. Just relax and enjoy the adventure x

Well, another busy week so not getting as much done as I would like. Not sure if I still have a guest, took the peanut butter without tripping trap but has not been back for more, the last lot has been down since Tuesday night, hopefully I have got rid!
Was driving to train station after work yesterday for a meeting with a client (there is no way on earth I am driving into central London in rush hour!) was rushing near to where I usually park when I saw the dreaded blue flashing lights, last thing I needed was to be stuck on wrong side when I was rushing for train, then my eye was distracted by a wondrous sight! Poundland are opening near where I live! Had no idea about it, so everything must have gone up after I had driven past yesterday morning. Must have been an omen, as I could drive past the ambulance that had originally caught my eye, luckily it was someone who was able to walk into the vehicle.
Going to Ikea tonight after work, officially to buy some glasses for the hall (am on management committee), but suspect I may find other things appearing in the trolley :rotfl:
Good to see you back Junior, make sure you look after yourself, sadly I had a cousin who needed a shunt as a result of a tumour, so I am acutely aware of the worries they can generate.
Feisty, I hope that Mr F is finally getting all the care and attention you both deserve and you both have something good to deal with for a change.
Hugs for everyone else and a left hook for Pink's dad if that is of any use to you:rotfl:A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Hey everyone!
Hope you've all been okay. Big hugs for those who need one, esp with the car troubles and the poorly relatives. I can definitely sympathise with the feelings you have when you have a crash - I managed to completely write-off my car back in May, coming off the motorway at Sandbach. No one else was involved but it was a terrifying situation - plus it meant I obviously ruined the car and ended up injured myself. Not fun!
I got my start date today, for the job I was offered last week. I start on Monday, which means I do get a pay packet before Christmas. Such a relief!
Took my Grandma Christmas shopping on Tuesday - she is 86 and can't get out on her own anymore. I was surprised by how busy it was! Already. The Christmas markets haven't even started here yet... She managed to get most of the stuff she wanted though - should be able to help her get the rest online - so that was good.
Not done much in the way of Christmas prep myself. Decided I really have finished Christmas shopping now and I have the paper etc bought ready. The only things left to do are gift wrapping [something I save for December] and getting the Christmas cards. Most of my friends don't bother, so I just get 'special' ones for parents, my brother, grandma, boyfriend etc. So that isn't a big job.0 -
Hi all!
Mosters Inc University whotsit dvd bought for youngest nephew last night. Primark have some Sully(??) onesies so I thought I'd get one to go with it as he loves fluffy, snuggly things and our local one only had age 3-4 and 11-12!
Hubby's bought his secret santa gift whilst we were in there - rudolph specs and a pudding beanie hat.
Boss lady was ranting today about how she saw a house with decs up on her way home last night. I couldn't stop laughing at her.
Oh, and I finally heard (as I was in the kitchen) the coca cola ad last night. I must confess I let out a gleeful squeal0 -
Confession - I don't like the Coke advert. It bores me now.
Sorry
But I do like the Sainsburys one! All 3 and a half minutes of it.
( I hate the Tesco one  )0 -
OMO - the coca cola ad is just a sign Christmas is near, just like the I'm a Celeb ads are0

Pinknfluffy -sorry to hear about your accident, as you may know I had one a couple of weeks ago and it really does shake you up, on the plus side for me I am currently swanning around in an Audi A6 with 1000 miles on the clock instead of my10 year old beetle with 120000 mile on the clock as the approved hire company only had premiuim cars in stock ...shame :j
Still checking in as much as I can but just seem to be rushed off my feet all the time!
Just found out that step daughter is coming for christmas (shes 23) so need to get some small stocking bits for her. In fact she messaged me last night saying that she loves coming to ours because its such a family occasion and she loves how I do her a silly little stocking to open whenthe younger ones get up, so if that wasnt a hint that she wants one I dont know what is lol.
If any one has kids who like starwars the thumbdoodles on amazon are great
Just ordered ds2 a personalised hoody for taekwondo to add to stocking gifts, and talking of him he is now in too set of maths, in the space of 5 mths he has gone from bottom set of 2 sets to top set of 5 sets, as his new school doesnt see why his literacy issues should limit his enjoyment and progress in Maths. :T'we don't stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing'0 -
