Hello. I'm still alive, just very busy.
Had to work late Monday and yesterday to make up the time I lost on Friday. Then add in walking the dog and it was bed time.
Day off today but am trying to get everything straight for the weekend. Just cut and dyed my hair. Ds asked why and I said for the weekend. His reply- your going back to London not Spain. I'd just throw some clothes in a bag Friday night.
Hope everyone is well. I have no hope in catching up.
Off now the washing machine has just finished xxx0 -

Haha the funny thing is if i post on here, and see it in black and white i immediately get up and start doing something :rotfl:i know i am a fruitcakeSo Maple Cheesecake cooked and cooling ready for freezer (another Nigella recipe) and another task for the week done! My trapped nerve is really playing up today, have run out of painkillers, so mince pies and cleaning the oven are definitely not going to be done today, hope you manage to get something done, if only opening your parcels :rotfl:

OMO glad to hear that you are well, DS is right though that is what men do, just chuck it all in at the last minute, and they get away with it, whereas we plan for weeks and still forget something :rotfl:#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Glad it went ok for you at the tribunal Junior J. Where abouts in Scotland are you off to? X
I have done something naughty and not very MSE at all. I've opened a little woods account. At the moment I have no extra money for any pressies. I have hand made the one who would appreciate handmade. And am not going mad this year. So opened the account so I can buy a few extras, I don't want to get myself in a huge debt. But I don't have any credit apart from my Next account which I always pay off, I think it's because I know I will have to pay this up and accrue interest as I don't have immediate funds.
I am waiting on 6 jobs getting back to me for hopeful interviews. It's so hard to find a part time job. X:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Hi all.
Not been on for just over a week and I have loads to catch up on as usual! I hope everyone is well. Hugs to all that need them.
Christmas prep is coming along well. Got all my retro sweetie hampers made up and also made up some chocolate sledges. Just got the finishing touches to add to them both. Going to take advantage of the points event in boots tomorrow and got money off vouchers for both whsmiths and the body shop so should hopefully get shopping finished by the end of the week!
Spotted a couple of houses with their Christmas lights up around my area, makes me smile when I drive past.0 -

Oh NIC i hope you find something soon and one of these 6 jobs is the one, dont be so down on yourself, sometimes we have to do things we dont want to when needs must, but you know when you are working you will be able to pay it off, its just a temporary stopgap, that is the only bad thing about christmas and that is when you dont have the money and worry about it.#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Today's jobs done.
Don't think the stags will be sprayed this week now.
Tomorrow after work I need to get some spare keys cut. I am going to hide one in the garden so if one of the kids locks them-self out and rings me in a panic I will have a solution.
Friday after work I am going to get the car cleaned. The back is still covered in hair from where I picked Mia up. Then finish packing.
I was very pleased today. One of ds' friends came round and commented on how much better Mia looked now she is being brushed regularly.
Just went upstairs to have a bath and have come back down and put the heating on. There is no way my slippers, let alone any clothing, is coming off until the bathroom is at least 5 degrees warmer than it is now. :rotfl:
And if anyone is going to the Ideal Xmas show before the weekend I want details. I hate going to the unknown. ( like can we take food in ? ) We were thinking of getting some sandwiches in Marks on Saturday as I have a feeling it will be very expensive there on Sunday.0 -

Thanks, I have been a bit of a negative nelly recently. I'm not usually this bad, but things all pile up until they push you don't they?
At the moment I've not ordered anything from it as it's so expensive  even the Innotab which is £43 in Amazon is £65 or so in Littlewoods.
On a plus note my inlaws got back to me and have been invited to my sil for their Christmas dinner. I would love to have them, but if we had his mum and dad, then my sil would have to come, which adds and extra 7 bodies. So it will be the 10 of us plus my 8 month old nephew. Then my Inlaws are coming in Boxing Day for a light supper and see the kids open their pressies.
It means everyone is happy and not as much stress for us. My sisters are bring starters and pudding, my dad is buying the turkey and we will do the rest. They are all bringing a bottle too. :T:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Nana I hope your friend is feeling a bit better what bad news just before Christmas.
Today in Morrisons I bought a lovely Christmas pet mat for under their water and food bowls. It has Merry Christmas and has a snowman, Santa and reindeer on it. The woman putting through my shopping thought it was lovely. It cost £3 and can be washed. It will go out on the 1st of December with all the decorations and doormats etc! It seems to be coming very quickly now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sealed Pot Challenge 1441
