You are selling prescription items on eBay to make money? I hope eBay take it down, shocking.

That's a bit harsh, she could be selling anything.

Please can someone recommend a good Christmas film to watch with my nearly 4 year old? It has to be not scary (ie no nasty people in it etc) as he is very sensitive. :A

no I'm selling items which can be bought over the counter or given on prescription... unless these things which are perfectly usable & will help someone would be better in a landfill or incinerator..

Most went to a charity that ships overseas to help children in developing countries.

freespirit66 - men can be absolute sh~~ts can't they. there probably isn't anyone on this board who hasn't experienced ex's turning nasty. I hope this chapter is over soon for you. be strong. he is probably happy and thinks he has upset you, which will delight him greatly. don't let him see it and think b@lls to him!!!:T
as for me, thank you. I think, as I have been ill, with little sleep, stuff got on top of me yesterday. although, still saying that, I have redone my lists. you are right, it was going to ruin Christmas and that isn't what I want. so out has gone a lot of the xmas baking and I will buy it in. I am still cooking stuff, but not baking. we always have loads left over anyway. plus ds has turned down a few jobs over Christmas, so that I will be in more. I think the thought of being out every night was overwhelming me. plus dd is having problems with her boyfriends mother which I have been dragged into by the mother.what fun.:j

Thankyou FLOWFY i feel a lot better now, oh im so glad you do too, it does all get on top of you doesnt it? But then we can take stock and start again, i am going to go through my baking list tomorrow now i have read Good Food xmas mag :) and just because i make something every year doesnt mean it HAS to be made so i am going to do less and some different baking this year. Oh your poor daughter i went through exactly the same only i ended up marrying him and she became my MIL for nearly 25 years  hope it all gets worked out.
Freespirit, I just want to give you a great big hug xxx
    Also, please tell me to !!!!!! off, but have you considered reading or listening to motivational speakers to try and help? I have heard good things about Paul Mckenna, and a little google revealed this;

    May be worth a try?
Well I made the call, she sounded quite upset, and I was telling a friend how bad I felt doing it as I couldn't stop thinking maybe she had ordered something believing she had extra Christmas money, but I've got to do what's best for us.
I really want to make my lovely orange zest mince pies, but just don't have the time :( I may make some up at the weekends when time isn't quite so crazy. My next day off is Christmas day :( I think it will have to be online shopping for us for pressies.

Aaah FEISTY i can feel the virtual hug from you :) thankyou i actually did listen to it and have put it in my favourites to listen to every day, its worth a try isnt it? And anyway my lovely i would never tell you to **** off :rotfl:I am glad you did make the call i know it must have been horrible for you but she did have a chance to work for you or even let you know she wasnt coming in. Oh that isnt good no time off now until xmas day you need some down time or you will make yourself ill again my lovely!!! :) Mince pies dont take long to make you could you not schedule 2 hours each saturday and sunday for doing something nice you enjoy?

Sorry to hear about your problems with the ex Freespirit - you're obviously worth so much more than that and it's really rough that you're having to put up with it. I think you've been very positive over the past months coping with everything but we're all allowed to have vulnerable moments sometimes and this is just one of yours. Remind yourself how far you've come - chin up, chest out and be proud of yourself because you deserve it!
Bought a Christmas pudding jumper today in B&M so going to start wearing it straight away so I get two full months before I have to put it away. Also finished off some more pressies and some more wrapping today so not much further to go. I want to be completely done before DD1 has the baby (due end of this month) so I can focus on helping out and making the house super Christmassy.

Oh PEPPAPIG thankyou for your lovely words, yes you are right it was just a blip onwards and upwards :) Yayy for wearing your xmas jumper now and getting your moneys worth it will cheer everyone up im sure. It will be lovely having cuddles with baby knowing everything is ready and sorted.

OMO hope you arent going down with something x

Hello everybody, well I arrived back from break away to bad news, I have caught up reading posts now, I haven't posted as a newby I didn't want to come across negative. Like other posters I have also felt overwhelmed with what I have to do for Christmas, so tomorrow's task is to redo my list, taking baby steps. Omo I did buy the stag cushions from tesco so thank you for that. I know that there are others having difficult times as well, so hugs to all that need them. Nanamia I do wish I could post like you my memory is shocking so it's a no goer!! It's lovely to see where everybody is up so I'm hoping the posts will give me a boost as you are a such a nice forum. I must try to get some sleep now, I don't know why I'm still awake as I take enough night time meds to put a bull to sleep

    Xmas Saver!
So much for a good nights sleep. I stupidly left the garden light on. Mia saw something at 4.45 and started barking. So I got up to settle her and now there is no point going back to bed. :(

I am going read back and update the task list.

Freespirit I saw this on Facebook and thought of you and the !!!!! ExH. I hope you find it funny. :)

aliaslotte Good Luck today at the interview. :D

One of my friends has a Pandora bracelet. She goes on about it all the time. Even though she knows I am not interested in the slightest. I can't believe how expensive they are. It's only silver.

I think she only goes on about it because of the price. I was telling her about Pinterest and she opened an account. One board- My Pandora Charms.

Pinksteps I'm glad ds has kept his sense of humour :D

Nanamia Well done on the weight lose. You deserved that mince pie. :rotfl:

Freespirit The stag looks lovely. :D ( I have an extra hole in the wale behind mine as well)
Your dogs are so sweet. You must have been heart-broken losing one if them. They eyes are amazing. My step-sister has 2 huskies. One if them has one blue eye and one brown eye.

I bumped into a friend the other day. She is Christmas mad. But not in the same way as me, if that makes sense. She comes from a big family and Christmas was the time when they all got together. She tries to relive it every year. She buys every box of chocolates and sweets that she can. Even though she knows there will still be loads left at Easter.

Well I happened to say I wasn't having a tree this year and she went mad.:rotfl:

I didn't have one last year, but obviously she never came here as she didn't know. Honestly you would have thought I had killed someone. She made is sound like we weren't having a proper Christmas because we didn't have a 7 foot tree. I told her we didn't have room and she said ' Why did you buy that many units if you haven't got room for a tree ! '

Oh yes, I'll live with a large gap in the corner all year just so we can have a tree up for a few weeks.
Her tree is lovely but it is way to big for her lounge. She has to move every bit of furniture, and I find it a bit claustrophobic. She changes nearly every ornament for a Christmas one. It's all a bit much for me.

I'm a bit more minimalistic. Less is more. A big tree in here would get me down. And to be honest ( :o ) I've only just got the lounge how I want it, I don't want to change it to much for Christmas.
Does that make me un-Christmassy ?

I did the big tree and garlands everywhere when we lived in the old house. It was Victorian with high ceilings and could take lots of decs. This house is a new build and it's too small for it. And I have a dog and baby to content with this year.

It upset me, then I thought I don't have to justify why I'm not having a tree. It my home and my choice.
