I was in Card Factory today and they were playing "Merry Xmas Everybody"!!! Even I think it's too early for shops to be playing Christmas music and I LOVE a festive tune.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

B e g I've just sat and watched the choir too, really quite enjoyed it. I've never watched a full episode before. You are doing well all your Mums presents bought and almost all wrapped too. Go you
The deal for your brother sounds great, must admit I'm a little addicted to those deal sites living social, groupon, amazon local etc. Really fancy a short break with DH or a Christmas canal cruise but he's way too grumpy! xxx
Pinksteps how did DS get on at the hospital? Any positive news? Can't believe how sorted you are too, who is going to be my friend on the naughty step this year? X
Feisty bless you my lovely. I'm afraid I'd have taken over in regards to DH and the hospital. I'm sure he is worried etc and being a blooming typical man but I'd just explain that he's way too important to you to be left in limbo like this and it's not helping anybody in being delayed. But then I'm very bossy (you may have noticed) And the shop assistant argh what a dilemma but I see again the lovelies have come up with very sound advicexxx
Linky I was scrolling down the page on the iPad thinking you'd photographed Mia's presents haha it was a very pleasant surprise to find such an adorable photo. Then the clothes maiden sorted, you are on a roll xxx
Mrs Christmas love to hear your storiesand thanks yep I did it X
Spendless Oooh no wonder you should be very proud. What a brilliant scheme too. Well done DSX
Ruth _honey aaw your poor Mum. That must've been an awful thing to witness, thank heavens the other driver was so very lucky too. Hope you've warmed up and a feeling a little betterX
Flowfy right my lovely its nag time! Please be kind to yourself, you are such a busy little butterfly. It's the time of year again where we are all guilty of putting ourselves under enormous pressure and it really takes all the fun out of our favourite time of the year. If all your prep doesn't get done this year, it won't really matter, do it next year or even the year after. If all your goodies don't make it to the freezer you know you won't starve. Redo your lists so they are achievable and anything else is a bonus. Feel free to drop your ironing at mine if you are passingAnd well done to your talented young man xxx
Pigpen thanks for the Yankee candle tips. And good luck with your ebayingX
Bunbun aww my lovely sending a gentle hug your way. You really don't need to say anything festive, or really say anything at all. Just bob in and say hello, we've been through so much together on here this last couple of years, it really does help. Hope your order arrived ok, I know you are feeling pretty low at the. Moment and in a kind of limbo but I promise you will get through it. You will be able to eat anything you like, the key is moderationIt's way too much to take in at once. xxx
Money maker argh smooth Christmas, all this gets on my blooming nerves. I "fell" out with my local Real Radio station a couple of years back when they decided to sack the breakfast team, for what seemed like no other reason than they didn't fit the demographic argh, they were really popular, high listening figures etc! Obviously I didn't fit the demographic either, so I voted with my button ha X
Mrs M hope you enjoyed the last of Prison Break, loved that series too. I was also in sainsburys earlier but no tea lightsI've had to look that song up on you tube made me chuckle too
the video is quite amusing too if you get a minute xxx
His missus sounds to me like you've done a lot really. Any chance of a few photos? X

In the Nana news saga, I'm pleased to say I didn't have to chop off any toes. At this mornings weigh in I am officially 3 stone lighter than I was on 25th Feb 2013 woo hoo.
To celebrate I made mince pies (then ate three with cream for my BREAKFAST still warm from the oven haha. I also made potato and leek soup, healthy enough- to which I added cream and mopped up with several slices of tiger loaf covered in Lurpak. I now have retired to bed feeling like a slug. Back on it tomorrow. Hey ho here's to saying goodbye to the next stone. Thank you all for your kind words, have really helped keep me going xxxThe secret of Christmas

Not really used these sites much myself - a hair do one for me (groupon) managed to get cut and highlights for £14 for me - they sent me an extra £10 off as I'd registered with them but never used them so it was used as an enticement. I bought my bff a hair do one (livingsocial) for her 60th and then the brewery one.
My DH sounds a bit like yours. Perhaps we should look for somewhere to go and leave them to at home :rotfl::rotfl:

nanamia - thanks for your kind words. I got quite upset last night about it all. I was wandering round, thinking about doing my windows at 10pm etc. I am redoing my lists this morning and trying to take control. I really do appreciate your concern for me. I think I try to put everyone else first and I am proper empty now. I am trying to be superwoman without superpowers. lol
thank you again.
well done on your weight loss. it is hard this time of year when the nice food is in the shops and it goes cold and you need something comforting, like a big hot chocolate. I bet you really enjoyed those mince pies with cream.
love
