Off to the hospital with DS this morn and as most of the pressies are either here or ordered this weeks tasks is to make Teddy some antlers :o

Hope it goes well for DS at the hospital, and i so want to see a pic of Teddy with antlers :rotfl:
Freespirit, was that naughty BD in town? I shall send Cesar Millan round to show it what for! Really glad your son is back in the work seat :)
Despite being told on the 15th October that he had suspected heart failure, we still haven't had an appointment through :( I am so cross I could cry! Add to it that DH is being a nightmare about chasing it up and I am doubly annoyed. Family think he may just be scared and not wanting the appointment to confirm our worse fears, so he is putting it off. I'm torn between wanting to protect him or slap him for putting us all through extra worry and stress on top of his Grandad.
Our person that was due to work the mornings for me from now until Christmas didn't turn up for her induction Friday grrrrr! She is the previous owners daughter and has worked there since the business opened, so I think she thought she could just dive in and start her first shift (solo) without even meeting us. Her excuse was she was too busy, and didn't get round to phoning to tell us :( I have said she can start next week (shop will be closed until I can get there at 1.30pm) but I'm wondering whether to put someone else in, or to just keep it closed in the mornings as it is already running at a loss, and adding staff wages on, will just make that loss even more :(
First day back to work today, oddly I am looking forward to it :)

Oh FEISTY theres a blast from the past i havent watched Cesar Milan for a long long time, i love him :) That b****y hospital, they really are awful arent they fgs, i am afraid men are exasperating in that way, i would go with the slap :rotfl:no not really like you say he is probably putting it off, although it would be so much better for him to get it over with. Is the girl a bit of a madam who was allowed to come and go with mum and dad??? I really dont know how to advise you on her or your predicament of being closed or paying wages, the only thing i can say is it will put people off if they pop into town and the shop is closed hth xx

    Morning :D
Glad your feeling better Freespirit. Hope Ds like his new job.
I was greeted today by 2 presents :( But she did them on the tiled hall floor and not the lounge carpet. As all her food is new I am going to have to cut one thing out at a time. I have a sneaky feeling it could be the knuckle bone I bought her on Friday. :o So I will leave the rest of her food as is for a few days and see.
As for her and Robbie, they ran me into the ground, then the pair of them collapsed.

Off to give Mia a quick walk before work.
Ps I found a nice black and grey dog bed half price in Dunelms. Am picking it up this afternoon. I will put it on top of the bed she has now, to make it nice and padded.

Oh that made me laugh, they both ran you into the ground but they are the ones zonked out :rotfl:oh they are going to be a right pair together arent they :)

BLUEEYEDGIRL that is a lovely, unusual present, going around a brewery, i am sure your brother will love that
MRSCHRISTMAS oh i hope i can get to an IKEA that gingerbread house is very cheap, i made one a couple of years ago but i found the gingerbread making bit and sticking together a nightmare
SPENDLESS congratulations to DS, no wonder you are very proud
RUTHHONEY oh your poor mum that must have really shaken her up, stupid young man, imagine if another car was coming around the corner, its too much to even bear thinking about, hope you feel better soon
FLOWFY hope you are feeling better, congratulations to DS on his competition, that is fab, dont stress yourself out my lovely it will all come together in the end, luckily my Pandora bracelet is full so i cant be tempted :)
PIGPEN oh i have to agree about the christmas tree smelling like disinfectant yuck its horrible, bought it last year so it would feel like the real tree had fragrance but oh god never again
BUNBUN i hope you are ok, you dont have to talk about just xmas, we will miss you, come back soon
MRSMONEYPENNY oh you will love the last Prison Break episode, i used to love that series, especially the eye candy :) i too have had The Holiday for years and only watched it for the first time a couple of months ago, i really enjoyed it

freespirit66 - I filled mine. it was the regular silver one, you know. I had a 'pink' theme going on, so I felt it didn't go with some of my outfits, even though I love it.

so I started another. lol. I tried a double leather in black and I have silver and black charms on. I had it for valentines this year and I have just 4 charms on that one.

hubby has no excuse now ;)

I want to eventually make 3 and pass them on when i depart this world, (its all i will have to pass on lol)

The only problem there is that people might automatically assume anything 'Pandora' on ebay is a knock-off so it might not be your best market.

Mine is a double brown leather O got for Valentine's this year and I have 5 charms on it. Was thinking of getting another one and am sorely tempted but can't really justify the money at the mo.

Money Maker - gutted to hear about Smooth Xmas - I missed it last year but was looking forward to listening this year.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
