Just to get first Xmas pjs and boys Xmas pjs and sweets chocolate etc for over Xmas. I've been getting ready for Xmas since aug dp doesn't think I'm as crazy now I've got everything early lol. OMO Mia is so cute. Our springer is 2 and everytime I get up to move he still follows me!

I was doing so well following the thread then I had the migraine from h**l last night.

In August I had blood tests at the GP. it showed high cholesterol and blood sugar so I another to test for diabetes, As we were going on holiday I rang up for the results and was told they were fine but needed to be repeated in 3 months. About a month ago I saw another GP about something else and he said have you come for your blood test results and I said no but I know I have to repeat them in 2 months. He said you need to watch your diet and do more exercise and that was it. What he didn't tell me me blood sugar level is 46 and diabetes is diagnosed at 48:mad: I can't see the nurse for over 2 weeks so am off to read about diet. I have had some lovely porridge made with water and a bit of salt. Christmas is going to be fun:eek:

This is Stella, our 4 year old american bulldog. She is big enough, and scary looking enough to make me feel safe at night when dh is working away. But she is the softest, most loving and loyal dog any family could ever wish for. The only one of us she follows around is dd2, and has done since her arrival as a 10 week old puppy, she seems to think dd is her "litter"!
She's not the cleverest of dogs, her "tricks" including snoring as load as possible, and sneaking on the sofa the moment she thinks our backs are turned. But we adore her, she is a member of our family.

Still no call back from yankee candle man GRRRRRRR!
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.

Choccy.. I have 2 as well and I would get DS1 one too but he couldn't afford the discs so not much use.. I'll whizz the vouchers out of the box later and grab the offer.. does it have an expiry date on it? LOL.. I just realised.. my boxes could contain nothing and just be weighted as I haven't even looked inside to check what is in there.

Rocketdog boots just arrived for DD2 and me.. but the sizes are so tiny I can't get my wide feet in so they are now going to DD2 and DD3.. I'm a bit sad but never mind.. (I am considering buying a bigger size though)

You need to register the product on the tassimo site using the serial number they then email you a code that is valid for 6 weeks. Not sure if its a permanent offer and you coulddelay registering it

As you can imagine I'm not overly keen on the red bed, but it was £10 and the other colours were pink  and purple

    At least red is festive.

I must get off the internet. I have fallen in love with a pouffe and throw.

And be leave it or not dd did not pull faces when I showed her. But then she does love laying on the sofa with a nice throw.

Eta mkgirl. I love the candle holder. Saw one today in M&S but it was £159. Yes £159 !!!

Oh OMO she is just beautiful. Glad she had a good night. My dog still follows me around and hates when I even go to the loo and he is 10 now. A wee tip take her to where you want her to poo or wee and use a word like " busy" and when she does it give her a treat and loads of praise. It will take a while and she will make mistakes but its like training a baby. I used to train dogs so I if you need any help I could try to help!
The M and S stags are nice but oh so not worth that money what a cheek.
    Hope everyone is well.

Your pets all look lovely, I laughed at the idea of Mia being sprayed white to match!

I might be sorting out the conundrum of OHs sister nearly accidentally spoiling my surprise for him, managed to secretly get in touch with her and we're going to work out what we're doing. Hopefully all will end up being fine, and of course I don't actually hate her!

I'm dying to go out Christmas shopping, we're away this weekend so can't, then I really need to have a quiet weekend to myself as it feels I've been permanently on the go for about two months! Hopefully by then, with Halloween and Bonfire Night done and dusted, there will be all the lovely Christmassy things out everywhere so I can fully get into them. Any recommendations of anywhere that's especially good? For one thing I must remember to go to Home Bargains, it's a bit out of the way in the town so I often forget to go or have too much to carry from elsewhere by then, but last time I was in it had so many great things that I have to make sure I have a look, even just for cheap stocking fillers.

We are very lucky that she is house trained. I think she went under the line because our garden light isn't that bright and it was the furthest she could get down the garden without being in the dark.

Eta and at least it's not in a spot any of us walk. We would get our heads court in the line before we reached it. :D

    Debt-free and Proud!
    :santa2:Hello all,

Tomorrow is November 1st, time for me to rejoin you all and start planning Christmas. Yes, I'm sure most of you have almost/completely finished your shopping! You probably all have Christmas cakes & flavoured vodka maturing and have fought and won the battle with cellophane wrapped gift hampers. Your cards are probably already written ready to post on the 1st December whilst I've managed to make just 5 so far...:o

This afternoon, as we're quiet at work, I'm going to write my list of people to buy for. Hubby is going to be the toughest as we've agreed on a holiday in Feb as our main pressie to each other but will give something(s) to open on the day as well as stockings each.
