OMO-just seen the pic of Mia-she is beautiful! I have to admit I did wake up this morning and wonder how she had got on trough the night so I'm glad things went well. She must be really well trained to bring her bowl in to you- so that's a good start. I second what Amyturtle said re paperwork etc- if she is chipped and registered to someone else the vets can be funny- at least you know the owner (or where he lives) and you could get a transfer of ownership paper signed then when you take her to vets you can find out who if anyone she is chipped with and go online and change the details. Then if she ever did get out she would be returned to you rather than previous owner. Labs have got such goofy/cheeky expressions I think.

MoneyMaker- my dog is called Ruby-perhaps I should get her some antlers!! I will try to post a pic later of her wearing my DD's hair extensions- transforms her from a German shepherd into an afghan hound!

Feisty- really good advice on here, hope things pick up soon x

Tasks for today;

Photograph new shop layout and tweet, facebook and website about it
Pluck up the courage to contact the echo about a possible feature
Finish off the 3 urgent orders that have crept in and need to be sent out today eeeek!

The weather is looking mighty pants, which means very, very low footfall to the centre (and by extension the shop) may escape at 4pm to bake some cupcakes for Halloween shindig this evening.

Omo glad she's settled dunno if its any help but I've had my girl since she was 8 weeks old ( she's 7 now) and she still follows me and the girls around.. She'll also sit guard on the stairs if she knows I'm in the bedroom lol I put it down to her having shepherd blood in her but maybe its the lab...she will also bringme her empty food bowls lol oh and if we play catch she'll use her paws not her mouth to catch big balls. See they sure are characters...does mia talk to you too yet? Yep that sounds nuts lol but pagan will respond to me talking to her with lil noises, has my family in Stitch's.

Just had confirmation my tescos order is ready to collect phew!!! Must update my running pressie total on here not done that for ages. One more bday to go and Christmas starts to appear yay!!!

Just got back from school run to find a card saying I have missed my qvc yankee delivery :eek:

Why is it that delivery drivers always choose that 20 minute slot to visit my street grrrrr, have left driver an answer phone message so hopefully he might re-deliver today. Fingers crossed

Mia is lovely, we have Indie a 9mth old springer spaniel poodle cross (spoodle) love him to bits and yes follows us everywhere, will post a pic later
I received my tassimo machine yesterday, so impressed ordered another one for my folks. Also went online to spend the £20 voucher and ordered £35 worth to get free postage. Well today already the deliveries have arrived but I actually y got 3 boxes, they duplicated the tdisc order so I have £70 worth of tdiscs for £15 :j and of course the £20 voucher to spend on my folks:T

Choccy.. I have 2 as well and I would get DS1 one too but he couldn't afford the discs so not much use.. I'll whizz the vouchers out of the box later and grab the offer.. does it have an expiry date on it? LOL.. I just realised.. my boxes could contain nothing and just be weighted as I haven't even looked inside to check what is in there.

Rocketdog boots just arrived for DD2 and me.. but the sizes are so tiny I can't get my wide feet in so they are now going to DD2 and DD3.. I'm a bit sad but never mind.. (I am considering buying a bigger size though)
