Awww....all the pet pics are just lovely! Even hubby stopped mid sentence then to say "oh my god, she's cute!" to Mylo's pic.

Had a look round Costco earlier. Some lovely Christmas stuff for sale. Hampers looked fantastic, but we all know we could make similar for much less. Great decorations too, but luckily I was riding the motorbike so was very limited to what I could buy anyway. Quite fancied a fleecy throw from there, but they were plain colours and I'm kind of in love with the Next fairisle throw that someone mentioned last week. I can't justify £18 on something I don't NEED, but I really, really like it!

  • omo I love how settled Mia is looking please be wary you need to get her paperwork and get her transferred over to you or DS being the owner or this could cause a hoohah with the vets in later life.

crafty, I always forget how close you are to me :D I hope the echo will be interested to hear that we are trying to revive the crafts part of the courtyard craft centre. We also support handmade artists and offer them space in the shop, and we are running workshops too! Not too sure how happy Molly's Den would be about me leaving flyers, but I can but ask ;)

The best way to get the newspaper on-side is to run a competition/giveaway/promotion alongside them. It could be an ordinary competition with a prize. Perhaps they would do some piccys of your 'new Christmas range' or whatever. Alternatively it could be a discount (percentage) with an expiry date. This would help if it was footfall you needed as well as converting browsing to sales.

    OMO, here's a link for you http://www.amazon.co.uk/RubieS-Costume-Rubies-Reindeer-Antlers/dp/B000H8IVC4.

Hope Mia's not going to be sprayed white :rotfl:

Feisty, hope the colliewobbles are calming down, there has been some sound advice on here, given time and publicity the footfall will increase, and every satisfied customer will tell all their friends, so maybe a reward to them for referrals who spend £x within 4 weeks of their purchase?
OMO lurve the lab, I want your DS, I think he is so caring and loving, I know you wouldn't part with him, but..... I would have him in a flash.
Getting ready for my jolly now, what to take on a bus trip? never done one before!
Friend got back off her hols yesterday but stayed at her mums last night so she doesn't know what we've done to her house yet hehe.
Went to bake for the Halloween hooley last night, no bleep eggs! so it will have to be today, just buns and a gingerbread so won't take long.
On the Christmas front, got the M&S puddings and cakes for my hampers one third off, will wait and see when the coffee and tea, jams and pickles go on offer, then just the ham and tinned meats.
Someone asked about the Christmas jam, it is lovely, but nicer when it is on 3 4 2 or half price! I wouldn't justify it for myself but if theres one left over.. its mine.
The Tesco value hampers are complete, so I will learn how to do photos and post them, probably after the jolly.
Missing DGS as he has spent the week between his dads and his mums, hopefully here tonight.

    Xmas Saver!
Well the first night went well. I was going to lock her out of the lounge, but then thought can I really be bothered to move her bed etc every night, so I left her in here.
She didn't touch a thing, and greeted me at the bottom of the stairs when I got up.
I just hope that she learns I am coming back and doesn't follow me around for ever !!
The only time she didn't follow me yesterday was when ds was in the room.
She ate her breakfast this morning then bought the bowl in for me. I don't know if she was showing me how good she was or if she was saying more please. :rotfl:
Knowing how greedy labs can be she probably wanted more.

Nanamia her name was Mia when we got her. But it is a lovely name. :D
  • omo Mia is absolutely gorgeous, always wanted a chocolate lab [don't let our Teddy know, she thinks she's the cats pyjamas].
