Morning all -hope you are all safe today .we are on the edge of the bad weather here in South Yorkshire lots of wind and rain.

Its looking like we will have our own herd of stags on here maybe the call it the holly herd . lol

Suddenly found lots of things on amazon for dd but cant get them until my new card arrives.

I remember getting a message from lakeland in the summer saying they had been hacked but all they said at the time was reset your password.

The bank said it could have been down to a skimming device on an ATM or a retailer being hacked .

OMO :( So sorryh lovely - hope nothing else dangerous happens

Nana, looking forward to those pictures

Pink, Now that must have been a worry - men, they think they are invincible!

Well I slept through (as predicted) - We are apparently on amber alert today, but the sky is bright and sunny.

After all your talk of yankee candles I caved and bought some stock for the shop. We aren't allowed to sell candles (another shop on site sells hand made candles) so I bought some Yankee reed diffusers in sparkling snow and sparkling cinnamon - they were a bit of a bargain at £9.99, so will add a few pounds on (to bring them in line with other high street retailers) and see if they sell ;)

Hope everyone is keeping safe in the face of this storm- in Birmingham we have been lucky (so far) only heavy winds and rain but nowhere near as bad as last Thursday. It must be so daunting not knowing when it will strike and how bad for those of you in the direct path- fingers crossed its not as bad as they predict.

OMO-leave the fence panels- its not worth getting hurt for if its that bad xx. Hope you manage to get out and get your stag door mat.

All you yankee candle addicts ( I count myself as one but OH HATES candles with a passion- especially scented ones-miserable git) I am sooo jealous of those that got yesterdays TSV! I didn't see it til late last night and by that time I was too cream crackered to actually make the order- my own fault for not being ar**d but I could kick myself today.

The weekend has been taken up with DD daughters Uni choices and arranging open day visits. To say I'm not happy is an understatement. Her fist choice is Birmingham (living in halls) but its a AAA entry requirement and if she doesn't get that (fingers crossed) her next choices are Westminster (not dissing the centre of London but Im REALLY not keen on that choice!) and EdgeHill - her chosen course is very specific and not too many Unis offer it. There have been tears and tantrums galore this weekend- and that's just ME! She's upset cus she convinced she will get the grades for Birmingham and thinks I am doubting her ability to get them! I'm not but she has to have contingency plans and its those I'm not happy with. I know she's got to go where the course is offered but you know how us mothers get.................! Flippin kids!

    This weeks tasks
    Feed cakes again
    organise freezers AGAIN!!!!
try to stay sane (this one may be pushing it a little!)

Take care, stay dry and batten down the hatches if you need to (as long as you don't end getting hurt like OMO!) xx
    lovin' this site!

We just have lots of rain.. and I have opticians with the girls at 11 so can't hide in the house in my pjs.. if it was just Squeak going I'd send OH but Moomin isn't his so he can't sign for her so I have to go.

I just ordered bits to make cards with the littlies so that will hopefully be here soon I also got a few bits for the older girls to do. I should have ordered it last week to do while it is raining all this week! What is the Hobbycraft delivery like? Do they take forever?

Run of my trotters until Friday afternoon at least.. don't think much wrapping will be getting done this week!.. I still haven't sorted it into the correct boxes.. each child has a box of their own so I don't have to spend hours sorting it into bags on Christmas eve!
