Nanamia I love your lounge. I bet your so pleased with it. Do you keep popping in there to have a look round ?

Well today hasn't been totally wasted. I managed to sit on my bed and wrap 15 presents. :D Only 12 more to go.
I would carry on but I am losing the will to live. :rotfl:

Nanamia- your living room looks wonderful-well worth all the hassle! Bet your pleased as punch aren't you-so you should be! AND another fantastic cake! Busy talented lady!:T

OMO- I feel like that when I am wrapping all the millions of advent calendar pressies-kind of takes the fun out of it all doesn't it? :mad:Thankfully that feelings short lived)

Pinkfluffy- I do that with my OH!! If he has a day off he either goes to sleep or gets miserable so I 'save' him from himself and find him jobs to do! Kind aren't I?:rotfl:

Love the reindeer but I'm not too keen on 'flock' - I like glitter but not all over (who am I kidding - I LOVE glitter!!). And those are definitely my kind of baubles!! Its such hard thirsty work dressing the tree ..............:rotfl:
I forgot to say earlier- mom came to dinner yesterday and brought me an 'early' Christmas pressie- a cuddly snowman that has extending legs to about 3ft high! He is adorable! I'm not an 'ornament' person but he is such a cutie that I didn't want to put him away. Can't wait til he is sat next to fireplace at Christmas!
    lovin' this site!

Kelly how's the job hunting going? It's sad that it's had to come to this, end of an era but hopefully something perfect will come along and you'll start a whole new chapter :) X

I had an interview on Friday which seemed to go well and then another today which I wasn't sure about but it must have went well as a few hours later I had a phone call offering me the job! Only 10hrs a week to start with and it's on a month to month basis but I am so happy. :D

    Evening all.

Hope you all managed to survive the storm with little or no damage. Makes a change for the area I live in not to be affected!

I really want to start making up my retro sweetie jars and bags is it too early? Will the sweets keep ok or should I wait another few weeks? X

Warning on the £5 off if that's the one I think it is it does work but they ask you not to use it again as it's supposed to be for people who have made complaints or something like that... :/
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....

If the jars are airtight they should be fine.

Congrats on the job ! :j
