Well maybe just a tea light holder won't hurt.
Again today dd asked a friend if they thought we had too many ornaments and was told no. :rotfl:
She really thinks there is too much in here. I keep telling her that when we had the bookcase we had more, but she won't believe me.
It has felt like a very long day waiting for the storm. We are in the red zone, so are quite apprehensive. It's the not knowing that I don't like. And as for the sleeping in the loft part, well I'll say no more on that. Apart from I hope the tiles don't come off or I'll get wet. :rotfl:
As soon as I saw the grey tea light holders I thought they'd be perfect for you lol
I'm in East Midlands so we're bracing ourselves for a bit of a battering0 -
Yay ordered TSV...hubby didn't realise that you get 24 in total :-0. Now do I have to buy a saucer type thing or a glass one that covers the whole candle?

So sorry Charliemaine1bee I completely forgot to say HELLO :hello:0 -
hehe. I have had it too. I knew it was coming and stayed up late to get it at 12 midnight. I can't wait to get it. although I still have some of the ones from last years TSV, so I might get those out as I put them away with my decs and start burning them. I will try and wait until after bonfire night. as after that, I feel I can go 'openly' festive.
I have decided this year, that after bonfire night, I am going to wear something Christmassy everyday. I have quite a few sweaters, leggings, t-shirts and earrings/brooches. all Christmassy. so if I rotate them twice, I can do something from Nov 6th to Christmas day.is that going too far????:T
No it isnt going too far :rotfl:they don't get it, do they. my dh never complains, when I have candles on...well apart from when I had about 8 Yankees on in the house and our eyes were stinging. lol
I have been a bit naughty this year. I have been seeing yankee jars in tkmaxx, and woodwick ones and getting them. I have still got some large jars in my sideboard too. I keep saying to myself that they are for presents, but I know the people I buy for, think they are 'just scented candles'. so I keep them.
I have got Christmas tree in tart form on at the moment and 'whiskers on kittens' in a large jar. I admit...I am a yankee addict.:o
I am a yankee addict am burning Drift Away at the moment, cant wait to get burning my xmas tarts in my xmas holder my DD1 bought me for xmas the other yearmkgirl1981 wrote: »had a rare Sunday off today so went for a mooch around the shops

Hi all,
A quick question for you all if I may...
I want to make up some mugs as xmas presents but I'm not sure which size of cello bags would be best for a 'normal' sized mug. Anyone have any advice/experience?
Thanks,
Kevin x0
