:rotfl: just opened the link as dd walked behind my chair. She said ' No Mum ' and walked back out the room ! :rotfl:

I may get one for my bedroom :D ( I'm not joking )

Well I am an Adli convert. Can't believe how cheap I got my shopping today. It is opposite Lidls, so I can pop in there as well if I need to.

Sitting here drinking a glass of Baileys. watching the Tottenham game . :D

Oh and on top of dd getting a job today I also got a letter saying she has been awarded a bursary.
This with the job is such a relieve for me. She can now buy things like her friends do. It will also help her budget as it will be her own money. She did work in the summer but it was only for a few weeks. This is long term.
  • That's great news OMO, well done to your DD.
I shop at Aldi, find Lidl a bit more expensive but still gotta do a top up shop in Asda or Tesco.

Thanks. :) her best friend has turned into the green eyed monster today. She got a bursary as well, but apparently she didn't apply for the school job. So has decided to put the job down in every way she can think of. I have explained to dd she is just peed off dd got it, but it is her own fault. I'm sure if she had applied she would have got it as well.

DD made me laugh earlier, I got the Aldi shopping out and asked her how much she thought it cost and she said £70 . Not quite I spent £23 as I am only buying the bear essentials. :rotfl:
I will probably need to top up in Morrison's but what I got were real bargains. Because of DS having ASD he can't use the oven, so I like to have a selection of quick microwave food in for him. I was out from 8 this morning until 6.30 this evening today which is a long time for him ( and me :( )
The bits he likes have become so expensive in the ( normal) supermarkets I was beginning to worry. But I got him a micro rib burger for 79p and some micro pepperoni pizzas for 99p ( for 2).
Not the most healthiest of diets but better than eating nothing, and he is like a rake.

WARNING the people that make Baileys are sneaky. They put their drink in dark bottles so you don't know how much you have drunk ( says the woman who has drunk a litre in 2 and half hours)

I know your impressed I can still type :D ( please remember what stock I come from)

    Tips

If you do Nectar points - do it after drinking Baileys- it's a lot less boring :D

Do not do it on a Thursday when you have work on a Friday.

Clear you handbag out- it's full of rubbish

Watch The Big Bang Theory - it will make you laugh out loud ( try not to scare the children)

No seriously I can't believe I have managed to drink the whole bottle. I'll got to go back to Morrison's now and get a new one for Christmas. ( not now obviously, tomorrow.)

On My Own - Go for it. I think you might need more than one to last you until Christmas. I got 2 but I just had some in one coffee, which I have never tried it in until tonight. it was really nice.

I am thinking of getting another tomorrow for dd for xmas.

:rotfl: the bottle I will buy tomorrow will be left in the car boot. I didn't set out to drink the whole thing. It just happened. God I sound like my Mother.

On a more serious note I cannot believe it is half term next week. It seems like only yesterday Dd started 6th form. I doubt I will get anything done with her here. She is all eyes and ears.
