I need to go stock up on some of this Morrisons baileys! Does anyone know when the offer is being run until?
I don't know when I'll be able to get there :'( the car I've been using has died! The clutch has gone and it would cost more than the car did in the first place. Most annoying thing is I've seen the car I want to replace mine with only its about £1000 above budget but I'm going off on a tangent here...

just been looking on wilko site, they have really out done themselves on the gift front this year I'm impressed, I'd go as far as saying they have topped boots ! :o!
I've definitely seen more things there that I've thought that would be perfect for...

I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....

Sequeena... 4 (possibly 5) of mine have hypermobility.. we have exercises to do a few times a week but it is fine.. though they are more prone to growing pains and dislocations and 2 can't walk far without pain in their joints but they do ok.

Another one back from Morrisons.:D I bought the Orange Truffle for sis-in-law and then showed the size of the bottle to Grand and went back and got some original for her to give to my DH as his xmas pressie. Gran has dementia and was having a good day, so thought strike whilst iron is hot. Loads Ain my store and barely anyone picking them up. I did overhear a SA saying that she wouldn't be getting one as it has to be drunk within a certain amount of time once opened and you'd 'just be drinking for the sake of it'. Don't get it??? Thought that was the point of alcohol. :rotfl: Maybe just me, hic -lol.

Thanks for the info re tesco clubcard boost whoever gave me it.
The ever after high dolls turned up today but are now down to £23ish new on Amazon. More than I paid. Grrrrrr, but that's the chance you take. My other Nan might be buying them off me though to give to DD.

    Congratulations fluffysox.

Pigpen- my DS is 14 in March.
What about gaming accessories for him?
Gaming mouse, keyboard, mouse-mat? Depending on your budget.

ETA- Has anyone seen the one direction perfume on offer anywhere?

Hello! Can I join you lovely ladies? I've finally read all the way through and caught up, good grief you can talk when it comes to all things festive :D

Congratulations to the Fluffysox family! That's wonderful news, and so sweet that your LO wanted to share his favourite car with his new brother. It sounds like the best Christmas present has come early in your household!

My mission for this Christmas is not to waste money on people and presents that won't be appreciated or valued, and to use Tesco/survey vouchers wherever possible so that actual cash spent is kept to a minimum. We're newlyweds and moving house next week, so we really need to watch the pennies. So far I've managed not to spend more than £1.50 on anything (apart from today's Bailey's for MIL, oops!), so it seems to be going ok. Everyone at work moans that I'm thinking about Christmas too early, but they're the ones who'll end up spending a fortune in December!

OMO that Houzz website is addictive. My DH spends hours on it, planning his ideal future home!

Ruth_honey I think it was you who mentioned you're going to a Christmas market? I'd recommend Bath or Worcester Victorian market, they're both good, but they're even better if you get there in the evening when it's dark, the Christmas lights are on and the band is playing while you eat a German hot dog and have a glass of mulled wine :j To be honest, Birmingham market is probably the best I've been to, but it's always so crowded and cramped that I've given up going. Whichever you do, you'll love it I'm sure!

The perfume I have seen but not on offer.. might it be worth checking out the Boots 3-4-2 if it is in that lot and having store delivery to cut costs that way..

ds has a laptop so keyboard etc aren't needed.. not sure if he uses a mouse or the trackpad tbh he might like a gaming mouse.. I got OH the warcraft cataclysm one (hugely reduced!) last year and it's been really good..

    Hello and welcome.:D

I'm glad I'm not the only one wasting hours on Houzz. :o

Big news- dd has a job at her school. :j She will be helping year 7 pupils improve their reading. It's is for one hour every morning 8-9 then a few hours in school time. They are going through the time tables over the half term before giving her her hours. But at £5 an hour the mornings will earn her £25 a week.
So no more money off me for going out and clothes for parties. :j
