WARNING the people that make Baileys are sneaky. They put their drink in dark bottles so you don't know how much you have drunk ( says the woman who has drunk a litre in 2 and half hours)

I know your impressed I can still type :D ( please remember what stock I come from)

    Tips

If you do Nectar points - do it after drinking Baileys- it's a lot less boring :D

Do not do it on a Thursday when you have work on a Friday.

Clear you handbag out- it's full of rubbish

Watch The Big Bang Theory - it will make you laugh out loud ( try not to scare the children)

No seriously I can't believe I have managed to drink the whole bottle. I'll got to go back to Morrison's now and get a new one for Christmas. ( not now obviously, tomorrow.)

SERIOUSLY I AM LMAO i thought i was bad with baileys :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I got my last task from last week finished today :o so all my paperwork is sorted and filed back up in the loft, now have a massive pile to burn if it ever stops raining

Not read back as still in hospital and suffering a fair bit of pain but yesterday evening our new baby boy was born. 8lb and perfect. We've called him Jason.
My toddler is smitten and gave him his favourite little car ;)

Wow fluffysox - well done and congratulations...... :T

Just flying through - see you already know about the Baileys at Morrisons. If you get 2 then there is a till spit for the chocolate one £3 off from 4th Nov. Just had a trial sample of that and it was great - alcoholic friji. Don't like Bailey's normally but brought 2 for pressies. Liking some of the serving suggestions I've seen on here - may have to think again. But the chocolate one is lush. Main grabbit thread also says some peeps finding that in their store the baileys has a free pack of coffee with it! Not in my store (Wetherby West Yorks) just ordinary bottles and the orange truffle ones - plenty on the shelves ... but maybe some of you will get lucky with the coffee...:)

OMO - respect ! Sounds like a mellow evening with the Baileys. :rotfl:

I need to visit this thread more often as my xmas mojo definitely struggling this year - but this always gives me the shot in the arm I need (its just always so late and bedtime when I get here). Think it's the mammoth house tidy putting me off (not caught up since the illness and a good bottoming required) .... and unfinished lists .........

Anyhow still catching up - so apologises if I've missed bits - hugs to all that need them and thanks to all for the inspiration :T

I have. but ages ago. the year before my son was born so that was Christmas 1998. we had a really long garage at the time and we hired 2 long tables, table cloths and 20 chairs from a company. it was quite cheap and the chairs were gorgeous, but you had to book earlyish. they bought them a few days before...like the 21st or something. I know this sounds gross but it wasn't, but we put wrapping paper up all round the garage and stuck it up with blue tack, so it looked like wallpaper. it was a warm garage so there was not a problem with heat. we did something for carpeting, but I can't remember what. we got another tree and put it down there as well. some of the people bought plates. I had enough glasses. I think someone bought wine, someone bought a Christmas ham. the others gave money. so I cooked all of it. but I did have a range, with 2 ovens. I cooked the turkey on the Christmas eve night. it turned out really well. everyone helped to bring stuff in and out etc.

I would never do it again.

Hehe I love the last comment.

It all sounds good. I didn't actually think of plates or glasses lol. I was only thinking food, oops x

morning everyone, I went into a smallish primark the other day and they had new types of Christmas sweaters/tops in. so I am going into Manchester later to see what else is about. I have got to go for a couple of other things anyway.

off to a Halloween party tomorrow. it is in aid of the brass band ds was last signed to but they are really nice folk and we still have a lot to do with them. I am going as Cleopatra, ds as keith lemon and dh as a werewolf. what a motley crew :)

I am not making progress at all with Christmas preparations. I haven't cooked anything for the freezer this week and have done nothing else in that way because I am so busy doing other stuff. :( can't see myself making much progress next week either as it is half term and I will have a teenage lad wandering about.

How's your head this morning, OMO? You sound much perkier than I would be the morning after drinking loads of Baileys. :)

I love shops with nice 'things'. Stroud has many little shops like this so shopping/window shopping there is good-apart from the hills! Which street in Worcester is it? I'll make a note to visit when I can.

Am so tired this morning. Feeling achy from all of the gym classes this week and I didn't sleep too well last night. Off to my cross stitch meet in an hour-not that I'm stitching at the moment. I just drink coffee and chat! :o
