Ok just flying through as must start cleaning :rotfl: But just seen this on hduk. Some Sainsbury's have small friends bags for £1.50 make excellent stocking stuffers - link mentions Amazon price which is a total red herring as Amazon always overprice their rrp of lego to well above what on lego website. But still a saving if you can find them in your store HTHS

Remember someone posting in last few days re wanting friends lego ................

Looks like lego advent calendar - friends - now £14.99

Or if a few of you club together and get 3 for 2 on boots (and maybe extra points if points offer on or open evening....)

    Xmas Saver!
Ruth_honey My heads fine. Drank a pint of milk for breakfast just to make sure the old tummy was ok. Then I popped into Morrisons on my way to work and replaced the bottle.:rotfl:

:rotfl: Even I think that's a Stag to far. :rotfl:

(Did you notice your post was number 8000 :D )

  • Morning everyone.

Glad your head is okay OMO after the Bailey's. It is incredibly 'drinkable' - I've found myself having entire glasses of it and I don't like cream, and don't whiskey flavoured things lol. Don't ask me why - just happens.

I did something not very MSE last night. Despite having the pamper hamper complete and being pretty happy with everything that is in it - hopefully there is a decent blend of practical things, quirky things as well as stuff he can actually properly enjoy - and I ended up buying the fragrance as well.
I used to work on a fragrance counter, so I know that it seldom goes below a certain price point. In fact, the 50ml bottle rarely seems to have any money off it at all. Last night, I found it at the Fr@grance Shop with £5 off, and then there was a code floating around for a further 20% off - saved £12 off the RRP, which brought it down to a price I've never seen it for before... Still, I'm skint, so whoops... Checking out the likes of HDUK is dangerous lol.

Ooops and here I come along with another hduk link :D

No Toysrus near us - but if you live near one worth checking out when there but not a special journey - unless Donkey Kong mad.

Asda currently have an offer of 3 months free delivery for £15- buy before before the end of October
    https://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/pages/delivery_pass/ltr.shtml?icid=noms_ev-link-so-1_ENTER-DeliveryPass&#delivery_pass_listing

Works out at £5 per month before xmas - mega! Minimum spend £40.

As many times a month as you want. Maybe useful for big/heavy items in the lead up to xmas. If you don't normally spend that much then I think you could bump shop amounts with giftcards for other stores. There is a one month option for £8 ...HTHS

WARNING the people that make Baileys are sneaky. They put their drink in dark bottles so you don't know how much you have drunk ( says the woman who has drunk a litre in 2 and half hours)

I know your impressed I can still type :D ( please remember what stock I come from)

    Tips

If you do Nectar points - do it after drinking Baileys- it's a lot less boring :D

Do not do it on a Thursday when you have work on a Friday.

Clear you handbag out- it's full of rubbish

Watch The Big Bang Theory - it will make you laugh out loud ( try not to scare the children)

No seriously I can't believe I have managed to drink the whole bottle. I'll got to go back to Morrison's now and get a new one for Christmas. ( not now obviously, tomorrow.)

I am mega impressed that since this confession (sorry, revelation!) every single one of your posts has continued to make complete sense! I am usually a slurring mess after a large double!
Hope your head is ok this morning xx
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.
  • hi everyone just asking if anyone knows the best place to go to have xmas cards made from my own photos ?
