Squeena big hugs to you and Thomas, hope he's recovering wel :)
Kelly how's the job hunting going? It's sad that it's had to come to this, end of an era but hopefully something perfect will come along and you'll start a whole new chapter :) X
Mrsinvisible sorry I wasn't around yesterday morning. I hope your day went well yesterday and you managed to smile :) Now today was 60 minute makeover day wasn't it? How'd that go? Hope you've not over done things. Thanks for mentioning that there is a bit of jealousy with your DGCtoo, makes me feel much better. I thought maybe I'd given out the wrong impression or signals. So thank you very much for that. DGD2 always wants to chat to DGD1 but she'll have none of it :( xxx
Murie my lovely, you do say some very thoughtful things :) xxx
Feisty thanks for the painting tips, I'm not really after a distressed look, I've a bit of acrylic paint floating about somewhere so will have a little 'play' and see what happens :) Has DH been at the hospital this week? Thinking about you both, try and make some time for each other this weekend :) xxx
Loubylou, Linky should be able to tell you which page her mammoth organisation list is on, most of us are working our way through it :) Post our tasks and Linky keeps us in check :) Sadly I'm usually in the naughty corner or doubled over on the naughty step haha xxx
Nicki well done with the planning, I think that's the hardest bit! When you've a list and a plan to follow its much easier :) X
Arthein, Kkatie and Ellie_B welcome, hi to you all. I'm sure you are going to love it here :)
Linky well done to your DD, wow she's growing up so fast now isn't she :) It's a shame her bestie turned into a green eyed monster :( hope they've managed to sort it between them. Baileys testing!!! Oh my word :) xxx
Chrissy I would definetely say a stag toooooo farrrr but we know what she's like- anything is possible. Everywhere I go now I see stags winking at me :) all trying to get a place on that beautiful side board :) xxx
Mandco did you see the wooden reindeer too, think there were three sizes in sainsburys with a red ribbon around their neck and a little jingle bell. I loved them but thought the three came to about £13 I think so put them back (obviously regretting it now! As usual!) but I'm not sure I'd have room for them. Might Justbe talked myself into going back for them haha xxx
Blooming Tasty that sounds like a perfect day :) X
Nic I love the sound of your big family Christmas, I'd love it. Thought Flowfys sounded brilliant, then she tops it with she'd never do it again haha. I do often think a roast is as easy for a large number as it is for 2, but oven/ burner space would be my concern xxx
Morgy hey don't be blooming worrying about housework, you are still getting well my lovely. I don't know if you've read the flylady thread over on the OS board but it's brilliant. My house is shocking, can't even use the decorating as an excuse cos the rest of the rooms shouldn't be so bad. I've jumped on board with the flyladys a few times. One of their lists is a 15 min job, each room comes around the next week so no great shakes if you don't get it done. But babysteps are the answer, little jobs instead of looking at the house as a whole :( Maybe worth a look :) xxx
Msgigglewick glad you get to go on your trip after all :) xxx
Marco you poor thing, being poorly again. There certainly is a lot of yuk about. Your house sounds so exciting, we'll be able to watch it grow with you I can't wait. I know it'll be hard work for you though! Think DH had the right idea, have a holiday get some sun and come back refreshed and rearing to go xxx
Pinksteps love what you've achieved with your craft stash :) Had to google butlers pantry ha xxx
Ruth_Honey like those boxes very much, and worked out very reasonably priced :) X
Pinknfluffy go girl, you are doing well. Makes me chuckle the things children remembering that you've promised them, so DD is to have her ears pierced :) xxx
Princess you two sound like you need to close the front door firmly, unplug the phone and have some "buzz of world time". Try and forget the chaos and just enjoy each other :) But I will neeeeed to see photos of the finished bathroom :) xxx
Freespirit well my lovely sister from another mister, you can say what you like but I've a feeling not all is well? ( feel free to tell me to buzz off) Is your next appointment booked yet? (Drs) must be nearly a month now and time for a review?? I'm nagging aren't I - sorry. I worry xxx

I'm other news the crazy Nana house is in it's usual chaos, however the living room is done :) I love love love it. Will pop some piccies on to bore you all tomorrow :) Having two more doors replaced tomorrow (kitchen) a cake to do and 17 party/gift bags to make up always fun here :) night night xxx

Haha no you are right it is due next week, and no i havent done it (slaps wrist) i must do it because it usually takes a few weeks to see her  i think about it the night before then the next day it just goes out of my head. Im not too bad, BD has gripped me im afraid i just feel like im wading through glue though as far as the dr is concerned, i really think i need different ADs because i shouldnt be feeling like this, i am trying to think of nice things to do for xmas that doesnt involve spending out at the moment to give me something to focus on and that i feel like i am being productive and being on here helps enormously, im so glad your LR is finished and you are so pleased with it, cant wait to see pics and of course the cake you are making tomorrow :) thankyou for worrying about me :rotfl: and feel free to nag me to ring drs again, night night x

Morning everyone, hope today is a good one for all of us.
Nic the big family Christmas was always my turn, usually 13-15 of us, but5 were nibs, so with all the presents and trying out the new games, bikes, roller skates etc (adults, that is, not nibs) everyone was too full of happy to care what a disaster I made of the dinner. Now there are usually 8 of us,(3 nibs) and its enough to cope with!
Everyone you are making me hone my stag-spotting skills, even tho. I'd never really considered them, now l think where they would look good.
Everyone Baileys-yumm yumm I have learned my lesson re. easy to drink-a-lot-of-that, and reckon that OMO got off lightly with no hangover.
Pinksteps, what a lovely tidy craft cupboard, all organised and logical. In my minds eye, so is mine, but one day I will photograph it , in all its chaotic glory, and the myth will explode. I may need Ruth-honeys boxes.
Nana so glad the living room is finished, want piccys please, and one of the cake, ooo you are a clever thing, what is the next project? time for Nanamia, I hope!
Had a nice day with fave cous on Thursday, we went to Ennerdale and sat at Bowness point then had coffee (flask) and a stroll round the edge then we went for retail therapy.
Yes, yesterday was the makeover day, but it didn't......exactly......go to plan, it sort of growed, like Topsy. The wardrobe unit friend had ordered arrived, so 'flatpack Steve' was roped in to build it, and as we had no room to work in the bedroom, we painted her living room. Just the walls, and will put a second coat on today and do the bedroom, we aren't interfering, truly, she said she wanted to paint the living room whisper cream, and the bedroom in pearl grey, so we are just doing that.. She has had such a rough year, trying to set up her own business, and then a bad 'man' experience, and she is such a love, we just wanted to do something nice for her.
Will also see DGS other Grandma (grandma sisters DGS calls us)today for coffee and kindle downloading/uploading? before our wrinklie jolly next week.

Ruth_Honey as another Worcester-ite, I can tell you it's Friar street you want to visit if you're looking for nick-nack independent gift shops. It's a couple of streets behind the high street, you can't miss it.

Pinksteps that craft cupboard is amazing! My MIL and I have always joked about wanting craft cupboards, but in truth it looks like we'd need a craft room each! Luckily for her it seems like this is a real possibility now that DH's sister has left home.

On a similarly christmassy crafty note, I'm really looking forward to the craft show at the NEC in a couple of weeks. It's always a sure sign that Christmas is coming and I love looking round, getting inspiration for crafting ideas and buying far too much Christmas-themed craft stuff :D Plus, I used my tesco vouchers and got tickets for £3 of vouchers rather than £10 of my hard-earned cash :T

DS took one look and said "that's anal, OCD playing up?" Bless him
