Hi everyone
Had a lovely morning shopping with the kiddies, back home and have a stew in the oven and Yankee Candle Sugared Apple burning.
Nipped into Primark again, had some more Xmas jumpers in, got a lovely cream fluffy jumper with a gold embroidered snowflake on the front, the snowflake also has large decorative jewels on, I'm quite pleased as was going to buy one from Tesco's but this is really soft and lovely. Got my little one a lovely pink knitted jumper dress and could not resist gingerbread man leggings for her.
In Wilko's got a lovely welcome light, contemporary design, but I have been looking for ages for a battery operated one, and there it was - I couldn't not buy it!
Into garden centre on the way home and they had lots of Yankee candle tealights reduced, picked up a box of the previously mentioned Sugared Apple and a box of Season of Peace (hubby loves this one) box of 12 for 4.50 also snapped up a apple and pine needle one for 50p.
Hug to all, take care x0 -
I'm seriously naffed off today , had a call from my bank apparently my debit card has been compromised !!! so they have cancelled it and it will take 3-5 working days till my new one arrives.

Squeena big hugs to you and Thomas, hope he's recovering wel
Kelly how's the job hunting going? It's sad that it's had to come to this, end of an era but hopefully something perfect will come along and you'll start a whole new chapterX
Mrsinvisible sorry I wasn't around yesterday morning. I hope your day went well yesterday and you managed to smileNow today was 60 minute makeover day wasn't it? How'd that go? Hope you've not over done things. Thanks for mentioning that there is a bit of jealousy with your DGCtoo, makes me feel much better. I thought maybe I'd given out the wrong impression or signals. So thank you very much for that. DGD2 always wants to chat to DGD1 but she'll have none of it

Murie my lovely, you do say some very thoughtful thingsxxx
Feisty thanks for the painting tips, I'm not really after a distressed look, I've a bit of acrylic paint floating about somewhere so will have a little 'play' and see what happensHas DH been at the hospital this week? Thinking about you both, try and make some time for each other this weekend
xxx
Loubylou, Linky should be able to tell you which page her mammoth organisation list is on, most of us are working our way through itPost our tasks and Linky keeps us in check
Sadly I'm usually in the naughty corner or doubled over on the naughty step haha xxx
Nicki well done with the planning, I think that's the hardest bit! When you've a list and a plan to follow its much easierX
Arthein, Kkatie and Ellie_B welcome, hi to you all. I'm sure you are going to love it here
Linky well done to your DD, wow she's growing up so fast now isn't sheIt's a shame her bestie turned into a green eyed monster
hope they've managed to sort it between them. Baileys testing!!! Oh my word
xxx
Chrissy I would definetely say a stag toooooo farrrr but we know what she's like- anything is possible. Everywhere I go now I see stags winking at meall trying to get a place on that beautiful side board
xxx
Mandco did you see the wooden reindeer too, think there were three sizes in sainsburys with a red ribbon around their neck and a little jingle bell. I loved them but thought the three came to about £13 I think so put them back (obviously regretting it now! As usual!) but I'm not sure I'd have room for them. Might Justbe talked myself into going back for them haha xxx
Blooming Tasty that sounds like a perfect dayX
Nic I love the sound of your big family Christmas, I'd love it. Thought Flowfys sounded brilliant, then she tops it with she'd never do it again haha. I do often think a roast is as easy for a large number as it is for 2, but oven/ burner space would be my concern xxx
Morgy hey don't be blooming worrying about housework, you are still getting well my lovely. I don't know if you've read the flylady thread over on the OS board but it's brilliant. My house is shocking, can't even use the decorating as an excuse cos the rest of the rooms shouldn't be so bad. I've jumped on board with the flyladys a few times. One of their lists is a 15 min job, each room comes around the next week so no great shakes if you don't get it done. But babysteps are the answer, little jobs instead of looking at the house as a wholeMaybe worth a look
xxx
Msgigglewick glad you get to go on your trip after allxxx
Marco you poor thing, being poorly again. There certainly is a lot of yuk about. Your house sounds so exciting, we'll be able to watch it grow with you I can't wait. I know it'll be hard work for you though! Think DH had the right idea, have a holiday get some sun and come back refreshed and rearing to go xxx
Pinksteps love what you've achieved with your craft stashHad to google butlers pantry ha xxx
Ruth_Honey like those boxes very much, and worked out very reasonably pricedX
Pinknfluffy go girl, you are doing well. Makes me chuckle the things children remembering that you've promised them, so DD is to have her ears piercedxxx
Princess you two sound like you need to close the front door firmly, unplug the phone and have some "buzz of world time". Try and forget the chaos and just enjoy each otherBut I will neeeeed to see photos of the finished bathroom
xxx
Freespirit well my lovely sister from another mister, you can say what you like but I've a feeling not all is well? ( feel free to tell me to buzz off) Is your next appointment booked yet? (Drs) must be nearly a month now and time for a review?? I'm nagging aren't I - sorry. I worry xxx
I'm other news the crazy Nana house is in it's usual chaos, however the living room is doneI love love love it. Will pop some piccies on to bore you all tomorrow
Having two more doors replaced tomorrow (kitchen) a cake to do and 17 party/gift bags to make up always fun here
night night xxx
Thanks Nana Looking forward to seeing your finished pictures. Hope your doors are replaced. I wish I could bake cakes and I love seeing your creations. My only creation at the moment is SW roulade which is not very difficult but we have a half of one each every night and it is only a half sin for a whole one!
I am sure I will bore everyone with my new house. My Husband is driving me mad with talk of woodburners and heating systems. The exciting bit at the moment is that we are waiting for a price for a Cattle proof fence which has to be put up within six months. It will be great to see our bit fenced off as it is a bit of decrofted land at the moment and it is hard to imagine it as ours. It is a third of an acre so plenty for the two of us and a daft dog. We are going up to see it on Tuesday so looking forward to it.Sealed Pot Challenge 1441

Hi everyone! Just thought I would pop in here and let you all know that you are very inspirational people! I always thought I was slightly crackers loving Christmas as much as I do, but it's really helping lift the mood in the house at the moment, making my parents feel more happy about Christmas rather than a reminder of those who are no longer alive to celebrate it. I had to remind my mother a couple of years ago that those who are no longer here to share our Christmases are replaced by new little people and one day they themselves (my mother not the tiddlies) will be no longer here and they should enjoy it and remember fondly those who have gone from this earth because they brought so much joy and laughter and love to Christmas that it would be an injustice to their memories to be moping.
It is a reminder of those who are no longer here but also a celebration of the new people who are
My mother seems better about it this year thankfully!.. but it is years since her mother passed and 4 since her brother did too and it is those she misses most. In that time we have added 9 new people to our family!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
