Ruth_Honey as another Worcester-ite, I can tell you it's Friar street you want to visit if you're looking for nick-nack independent gift shops. It's a couple of streets behind the high street, you can't miss it.
Pinksteps that craft cupboard is amazing! My MIL and I have always joked about wanting craft cupboards, but in truth it looks like we'd need a craft room each! Luckily for her it seems like this is a real possibility now that DH's sister has left home.
On a similarly christmassy crafty note, I'm really looking forward to the craft show at the NEC in a couple of weeks. It's always a sure sign that Christmas is coming and I love looking round, getting inspiration for crafting ideas and buying far too much Christmas-themed craft stuffPlus, I used my tesco vouchers and got tickets for £3 of vouchers rather than £10 of my hard-earned cash :T
Thank you. I've made a note. Mum seems quite keen on visiting Worcester for a Christmas market and mooch round.
The craft show sounds fun. I've got the Ideal home show coming up next month. I've been to the normal one before but not the Christmas one. I know I'll want to buy everything! Last time, I was trying to talk hubby into buying a hot tub! :rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Hi all, I still haven't managed to catch up properly so I might just have to start from here! Just wanted to say that I've just had this month's copy of Prima delivered and it's Christmassy themed! I haven't got time to read it now as I've got a couple of friends coming up for afternoon tea soon, but I can't wait to flick through later! It also comes with a little booklet of Christmas bakes! Yippee, can't wait to sit down with a cuppa and have a good read!
Nanamia we're definitely tying to chill out this week, DH has gone off to play golf this afternoon and i'm going for afternoon tea with two good friends so i'm looking forward to that. Tomorrow will be a lazy day! Will definitely post some pics of the new bathroom. x
Ruth_honey it's so funny hearing you talk about Stroud - that's where i'm from and my family still live there. I know we've talked before about being from Gloucestershire before but it was funny hearing you talk about the little shops. I miss the Farmers Market, it is the best one I've ever been too and wish I could go more often!0 -
I seem to think there were people after segsations? They're currently on offer at Mr T for £2 if memory serves (I've just come back from my shopping and I saw them right at the start!)0

Hi all,
I thought it was time that I formally introduced myself to you all although I feel that I know you all very very well as I have been watching from afar for a while now. Well, since someone mentioned the UNO cards from amazon which I then proceeded to buy, so thank you whoever mentioned them (can't remember sorry!)
I bought some of the Christmas pudding refuse bags yesterday from B&M for 99p, I recall someone looking for those.
I have to say I love reading about what you have all been up to, the trials of life and all :-) but coming here and reading about Christmas has been fantastic. Everyone thinks I'm totally bonkers!
