I hope that it is ok to ask does anybody know when the gift guides are out (I read someway up the thread boots is already out). I am after any shops I am going to my local town centre on Saturday hoping to pick some up. I want to get all of my presents by November

Full story just in case anyone else is as nosey as me ...

Dad was in a head on start of the year other drivers fault, Dad came off worst but he was really really lucky not even any broken bones, other driver and child were fine.
But the attending police was a family friend and we found out yesterday the other driver is currently trying to raise the funds to take her terminally ill child to Disney world. Would feel really bad claiming compo if it would affect her financially, especially as a lot of dads injuries have been labelled by the doctors as that they will never get any better and include facial scarring so I'd imagine it will be quite a decent sum of money.

I feel proper Christmassy today was rather chilly earlier so I'm wearing velvety leggings thick wooly socks, a big wooly cardigan with snow flakes on it and a scarf. I love this weather!!

All this talk of flavoured vodkas has got me thinking maybe I should make my friends some this year for Christmas, a little hamper, the usual truffles, biscuits, homemade wine, and cinnamon salt dough tag so it can be used as a tree decoration ... plus this years additions of flavoured vodka and a home made bath type thing... Thinking that way the food and drink can be shared with partners and they have the bath thing for themselves.
I'm currently trying to decide on this years cards so I can get started on them I'm too indecisive though
