Morning everyone!
My cat has clearly decided she's ready for Christmas too. I woke up and came into the living room to find she'd dug out her padded Christmas tree toy and was playing with it. Bless her... :xmastree:Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I've not read anything but just thought I'd let you all know sainsburys are doing 99 e-books for 99p (I think its all month... and I haven't checked many against Amazon prices!)
There is a Christmassy one - A Winter Flame - Milly Johnson (£3.66 for the e-book on amazon! ) seriously considering buying it despite my ever growing list of books I've not yet finished/started
And some of my favourites are on the list - PS. I love you, The love of my life
Weird that the ones I have on the list are all soppy ones, I don't often read lovey dovey romances!

Own My Own Love those cushions!
ALJA Foodie hampers are a good idea, perfect for sharing with partners and children and tend to go down really well! I always do a home made kind of mini foodie hamper for my friends, biscuits, chocolate truffles (chocolate, orange and baileys) and a little bottle of home made wine. They've already started requesting the same again this year lol.
FeistyFidget I think you've covered pretty much everything there!
Not Christmas related, but does anyone know how compensation works for road traffic accidents where does the money actually come from? I mean is there financial implications for the responsible party or does the insurance sort it all

Hello my lovely, im fine just a bit fed up, DS didnt get the job that he fluffed the interview, but still waiting to hear about the one he wants, the agency had good feedback about his iv but the company havent decided yet  and the big m still havent sorted out any hours for him, so we are so tight on money, we are all in the doldrums. Hope you are ok, i thought you had just been really busy, hope the LR is nearly there now, and that you are ok x
ETA: DS just got an email saying he did really well in interview but they have decided to fill it internally#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -

Hi all. Sorry not posted in a while. Just took a walk up Chester High Street on my lunch break and they are putting up the chistmas lights. I came back to the office all excited but unfortunately my excitement wasn't shared! There were choruses of "it's only October" and "oh my God it's too early"! :rotfl:
Waiting til DH get's paid on Friday and then I'll be searching out some of the bargains mentioned on here. I've missed the Morrisons sweet offer but can anyone tell me if they'll still be £4 in Asda over the weekend? Definitely thinking about getting the sour candy canes for my tree. DH's friend always pinches the candy canes off our tree when he visits can't wait to see his face when it's not the usual peppermint taste! :rotfl:
If anybody see's any of the Doc McStuffins plush toys in any sales/offers can they let me know please. Managed to pick up the bag and interactive doll together in Costco for £28 (they're £20 each in the other shops) so just need the toys for DD to use them with now.
