Choccymoose you will have to let me know how you get on with your woodburner. We have bought a plot of land and are due to build a house next year. We think we will have a woodburner and oil but do not know anyone with a woodburner to tell us how good they are. We have had the heating on for a couple of weeks at night as it is chilly here.Sealed Pot Challenge 1441

I tracked down some perfect rubber ducks!
They come as a four pack, all little Vikings. Given his love of the Vikings they are absolutely perfect. Plus, there being four will mean I can dot them around the hamper for him to find when I start putting it together.
I've also got him a bath pillow from Body Shop. Seems to be a really good price after looking around for ages, given the current 35% off code [and free delivery].0 -

When we moved in ( brought house of my parents) they had a gas fire, we had to block it up because youngest liked to headbut and for safety needed to get rid of the hearth. Now he is older and they have both grown up around fire its time to reopen it.
Ref chimeny for the man himself he had a magic key here. Also in the house I grew up in we didn't have a chimeny but had a flue going out the back of the lounge up through the utility. My friends have put a free standing woodburner in their family room and again have used a flue that goes direct to the outside walls. Think it has to be double lined but there are ways and means'we don't stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing'0 -

GrandSanta makes us howl, my DS ends op rolling on the ground at the bit towards the end where he shakes out the rubbish bag, hold up an apple core and says 'ere, have a bonbon!' ... not sure why he finds it quite so wet-your-pants hilarious but it does make me smile!
All I will say is that the chihuahua and the slipper had me crying with laughter and DS telling me to "grow up"0
