Used to be able to get them in all major supermarkets, now only at certain times of the year. Usually next to the ready made flan bases and the ready made things made with egg whites and sugar that I can't spell ! Little independant cake shops do them quite often round here or if you are brave you can buy moulds

Been looking at the M&S Christmas stuff, the doodle wrapping paper has got me thinking... I might try buying a roll of brown paper and loads of silver pens and make my own doodle wrapping paper, if I start now I might get enough done... x
Used to get my kids to do that :rotfl:

    craftymummy,
Our local Primarni had fluffy bedsocks.
    I'm well stocked atm.
Tempted by some reindeer slipper boots in Next tho. Showed them to DH on my phone last night. My birthday is exactly 4 weeks before Christmas, and may just put in a request ;)

Aww Choccymoose thank you, yes everything is fine I'm just shattered! I've lost my GUAG, searched everywhere but can not find it :)
So pleased your other half booked Polar Express (major brownie points) that was such a lovely thing to do. I'm envious obviously, there is a reason I have green eyes! xxx
Crowdpleaser Sorry to hear about your friends Dad, it's so hard when people we love are sad and we are powerless to make it better for them. Sending you both hugs. That's good news from the solicitor isn't it, is it to early to be thinking where you'd have your tree in your new house? Tempting fate? Fingers crossed for the second week in November it'll be perfect timing :) You've been such a busy bee lately, hope you are finding time to chill? And be kind to yourself :) xxx
Quidsy I can't think of anything else to add to your list. You are a star. Thank you x
Chrissy I've bought some of that insulation stuff for behind the radiators too, living room radiator is still off so that's a doddle but was it tricky to do whilst they are fixed to the wall? X
Mojoworking bless you, you could come out with me wearing your birthday suit if you fancied. I don't know sometimes they just don't think! X
Msgigglewick we've missed you, glad you are picking up now but blooming hek hope your LO is feeling better very soon xxx
Mrs M Glad you've managed your cake :) How lovely is that school, probably got a lot to do with you being part of the governing body, love, kindness and positivity radiating down throughout the school. Wish they were all like that :) xxx
Cupofchai Even if you are not buying for hundreds you can still take part in the weekly tasks, maybe do something Christmassy. I've seen the onesies in primark too :) xxx
Kellyhghs thank you for the info I love matalan Christmas department. Tho it gets on my nerves, much the same as boots with its 3 for 2, think the prices are inflated to make you feel as if you've got a bargain! X
Freespirit sorry my sister from another mister, didn't mean to worry you, just been up to my rolly eyes in it! Yesterday managed to do all the little jobs left in the living room, touching up where the merry band of helpers had caught my emulsion, then removing paint from the window frames and light fitting, fiddly little things but done now. Blinds were fitted this morning, front of house vertical white blinds, back Venetian white glossy boring but I love them. Have fought against them for years now cos everybody locally has them but grown to love them. I'd prefer bare windows but no chance with DH (grump) They are bright and let a lot of light in although people can't see in. Wallpaper is also here DH picked it up today :) love it even more in real life :) Electrics done. One door to be hung - Saturday at 10 fingers crossed nothing goes wrong there. Wallpaper up when DH is has recovered from his fishing trip (trip Saturday but will take him a few days to recover) Finally all coming together. Still need rug, curtains and cushions the saga continues!
Woo hoo DS filming a BMW commercial wow he'll love that and Fingerscrossed he'll get more work from it. Are BMW going him a sample to try? Wouldn't that be nice :) Hopefully he'll get good news from his interviews too then he can have choices. How is your pain now with the new meds? Have things settled? No migraine this week? And tummy better? Blooming hek I'm sooooo nosey! xxx
Mrsinvisible well you are definitely not invisible to us! Like the story of how you got your name tho;) Oooh what a bargain with the bedroom. I'm a little afraid to say this, with the living room still unfinished but the bedroom is my next project. DH should be afraid, be very afraid haha xxx
Craftymummy had a little giggle when I read what your DH thought your name meant. Ha what are they like. My daft thing always says if you buy somebody a smelly, toiletry gift "they're gonna thing they smell" where's the blinking logic? I got fluffy socks in £stretcher 3 pairs for £1.99 xxx
Marco sending hugs, it must be so difficult for you. The gingerbread throw sounds lovely, have made a note to look at Dunelm thank you x

Pigpen woo hoo so glad to see you over here :) I won't have to stalk you on the flylady thread to see how you and your lovely lot are doing. I just adored the photos of Delila and her gorgeous name and couldn't believe how big the DGC had got. Glad to have you here to share in the Christmas spirit, I'm sure you are gonna love it. X
Gettingtherequickly aww how cute was that, made your planning of the treats so worthwhile when they were loved and appreciated :) xxx
Alja you are doing well. That was excellent customer service from superdrug wasn't it. It's good to know xxx
Linky my "deer" friend :) can't think of another way to put this but I love your old man :) hahaha Think he's my fave. xxx
Princess we are big Emmerdale fans here too, thought they'd dragged out the storylines a bit but am still hooked. You'll always be our Princess don't burst my bubble, had enough of that when I found out our Caitlyn wasn't a Caitlyn (and yes lady if you are lurking we miss you!) I've made a note to look for the chronicles of narnia to buy for DDs stocking, I've already picked up the bbc series The Borrowers which my two also watched and loved. She loves to watch her old favourites with DGD2 to continue the tradition. I bet you do that too when your LOs arrive :) xxx
Wuvvie aww how cute is your DS I love that story :) It'll be good to get your op done and start to get back to your old self in time for Christmas. Wishing you all the very best for Monday xxx
Springdreams that's a blooming long time to wait for your results! Sounds as tho it went well, you certainly put the work in and deserve to sail through with flying colours (specially as you are all ready qualified!) What will you do till Easter ?
Katiebee I neeeeed to get to primark to look at the bedding before its all sold out like last year! Thank you for the reminder. X
Nitnurse Mrs Invincible just about sums Mrsinvisible up :) it made me chuckle because she always reads mine as mania, not maniac thankfully but close. Ha :) xxx
Ameyturtle I've been following slimming world healthy eating plan since February, hate all fruit and veg with a passion. I can honestly say I have never eaten 5 a week never mind a day till then. Soups are defo the answer, if I can't see the veg it's way easier to palate and fruit well I just eat it (don't like any of it) but worked out I like some less than others. It's doable, really is you soon get used to it' (can't even believe I'm saying this!) xxx
Aliaslotte think your hamper sounds a much nicer idea, the personal touch x
Debndot Oooh my DD would love a matching onesie with DGD2, must have a peep :) Thank you. Have a great time this weekend xxx
Mrs Cullen ooh Thomas cook discount, perfect. Where do you fancy going? X
Peppapig ooooh Christmas Eve with a 4 yr old DGC, I'm not a bit envious (I am of course, I'd probably give me right arm to have mine here for Christmas) so you savour ever second and share it with me please :) It'll make me cry but in a good way :) xxx
Fluffysox I do hope your DH takes the hint for the slippers, in the mean time. Are you nesting yet? And are your feet UP xxx
