    Xmas Saver!
Have just got in from work and my neighbours from hell have gone too far. They have built some monstrosity of a lean-to from old pallets. A monstrosity they have attached to my fence.

I have phoned the council and told them I have had enough. I have listed all the complaints that have been made against them by myself and others in the street. I also told them they are claiming benefit fraudulently. He shouldn't be there. He moved out with the youngest boy when he was told he needed to look for work. They are both claiming as single parents.
It would also appear they have not asked for permission to build this thing, so if nothing else they will have to take it down. My hope is that they are just told to move out.
When my house was built (5 years ago) there was a lovely lady living there. But sadly she went into a diabetic coma 3 years ago and had to go into a home. She was very lucky that it was snowing and I popped in to see if she needed anything from the shop. If I had not gone in she wouldn't have made a recovery.

So I am now not in the mood to go into the loft to look for the bears. It will have to wait for another day.

this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk
  • *Quick wave* PinkSteps did you love it???? GrandSanta makes us howl, my DS ends op rolling on the ground at the bit towards the end where he shakes out the rubbish bag, hold up an apple core and says 'ere, have a bonbon!' ... not sure why he finds it quite so wet-your-pants hilarious but it does make me smile!

OMG OMO!!! what a bloody nightmare they are! I dont blame you giving it to the council with both barrels - some people just think they can do what they like and b*gger everyone else!

MrsMoneypenny I sympathise! spent £35 on Lush ... I blame Ameyturtle for making it sound so lovely and being absolutely right!!

KatieBee popped into Mr T on the way back form picking up DD from school as its close and needed bread and kitchen roll ... got sidetracked by the brussels pate with chilli and then got even more sidetracked by the Christmas aisle too! I mentioned re Cadburys Chocolate Coins and hey presto they had 2 big boxes there! but couldnt get tham as they are for the stockings and had DD with me, they wouldnt have got past her! Oh dear I may need to go back again ....

Aww Choccymoose thank you, yes everything is fine I'm just shattered! I've lost my GUAG, searched everywhere but can not find it :)
So pleased your other half booked Polar Express (major brownie points) that was such a lovely thing to do. I'm envious obviously, there is a reason I have green eyes! xxx
Crowdpleaser Sorry to hear about your friends Dad, it's so hard when people we love are sad and we are powerless to make it better for them. Sending you both hugs. That's good news from the solicitor isn't it, is it to early to be thinking where you'd have your tree in your new house? Tempting fate? Fingers crossed for the second week in November it'll be perfect timing :) You've been such a busy bee lately, hope you are finding time to chill? And be kind to yourself :) xxx
Quidsy I can't think of anything else to add to your list. You are a star. Thank you x
Chrissy I've bought some of that insulation stuff for behind the radiators too, living room radiator is still off so that's a doddle but was it tricky to do whilst they are fixed to the wall? X
Mojoworking bless you, you could come out with me wearing your birthday suit if you fancied. I don't know sometimes they just don't think! X
Msgigglewick we've missed you, glad you are picking up now but blooming hek hope your LO is feeling better very soon xxx
Mrs M Glad you've managed your cake :) How lovely is that school, probably got a lot to do with you being part of the governing body, love, kindness and positivity radiating down throughout the school. Wish they were all like that :) xxx
Cupofchai Even if you are not buying for hundreds you can still take part in the weekly tasks, maybe do something Christmassy. I've seen the onesies in primark too :) xxx
Kellyhghs thank you for the info I love matalan Christmas department. Tho it gets on my nerves, much the same as boots with its 3 for 2, think the prices are inflated to make you feel as if you've got a bargain! X
Freespirit sorry my sister from another mister, didn't mean to worry you, just been up to my rolly eyes in it! Yesterday managed to do all the little jobs left in the living room, touching up where the merry band of helpers had caught my emulsion, then removing paint from the window frames and light fitting, fiddly little things but done now. Blinds were fitted this morning, front of house vertical white blinds, back Venetian white glossy boring but I love them. Have fought against them for years now cos everybody locally has them but grown to love them. I'd prefer bare windows but no chance with DH (grump) They are bright and let a lot of light in although people can't see in. Wallpaper is also here DH picked it up today :) love it even more in real life :) Electrics done. One door to be hung - Saturday at 10 fingers crossed nothing goes wrong there. Wallpaper up when DH is has recovered from his fishing trip (trip Saturday but will take him a few days to recover) Finally all coming together. Still need rug, curtains and cushions the saga continues!
Woo hoo DS filming a BMW commercial wow he'll love that and Fingerscrossed he'll get more work from it. Are BMW going him a sample to try? Wouldn't that be nice :) Hopefully he'll get good news from his interviews too then he can have choices. How is your pain now with the new meds? Have things settled? No migraine this week? And tummy better? Blooming hek I'm sooooo nosey! xxx
Mrsinvisible well you are definitely not invisible to us! Like the story of how you got your name tho;) Oooh what a bargain with the bedroom. I'm a little afraid to say this, with the living room still unfinished but the bedroom is my next project. DH should be afraid, be very afraid haha xxx
Craftymummy had a little giggle when I read what your DH thought your name meant. Ha what are they like. My daft thing always says if you buy somebody a smelly, toiletry gift "they're gonna thing they smell" where's the blinking logic? I got fluffy socks in £stretcher 3 pairs for £1.99 xxx
Marco sending hugs, it must be so difficult for you. The gingerbread throw sounds lovely, have made a note to look at Dunelm thank you x

Thank you Nana I think the throw is lovely it cost £6.99. I don't think it will be huge. Hope you get one. x
