I have a recipe in a Good Housekeeping kids cook book. It uses ginger and golden syrup. Could this be the recipe you are looking for? If so I will add it.:)

I have just sorted my "stash" of new decorations for the bathroom. I think I have quite sufficient however, that will not curb my spending:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This week I must buy suet, lemons and oranges so I can make my sweet mince (Didn't do it this week:(:()

NANAMIA you ramble away, not a problem, my dad was in a similar situation, we were told he was terminal 18mths ago, however he has taken part in a trial and the change in him is amazing and last bloods showed he was clear!
Hmm think I will have fake and see what decs take my fancy.
So proud of youngest son, today he took part as a tour guide for a local victorian mansion, he had to learn his lines and it contained lots of tricky words. He had to speak in front of lots of people. I couldnt be there as was teaching, however reports back said he was amazing. This is the child who has severe dyslexia and mears irlen which means he has problems reading and retaining information and who in June moved schools due to his self esteem being rock bottom.

just a quickie, have seen on hukd that lidl have half price dark choc this weekend if anybody is on the lookout, typically were away so may have to drag dh to Colchester to find one. Have completed one task for the week already, December planner is done and first event is booked and written in :-)0

Pixtotts:santa2:
Gingerbread biscuits
In the bowl
12oz plain white flour
1 level tsp baking powder
2 level tsp ginger
Add
4 oz butter/ marg and rub in
In another bowl combine
1 egg
4 tbsp golden syrup
Add
Syrup/egg mix to main bowl and mix with fork.
Sqreeze together o form dough and roll out until thin.
Cut biscuits and place on lightly oiled tray.
Bake 190oC, 375oF for 12-15 mins.
EAT!!!!!:D:D:D:D
