Fingers crossed for DS this afternoon Freespirit positive vibes for the interviewers so they can recognise his talent :) And a good day for DD1 too, lets hope she'll be very happy in the new department and that she's appreciated :) You can imagine the state of my house at the mo:( I peeped at the flylady thread and think a few minutes on the bathroom would be a good idea! Been looking after DGD2 this morning DD had an extra day this week for training. I say looking after but it's more the other way round haha. Done DDs ironing whilst DGD2 snoozed and then her daddy is back :) My DH and his mate have popped out fishing for a few hours enjoying the end of the sun :) Further to last nights post, it's happened three times now, three times they've said there's nothing more can be done etc etc you might get a few more weeks etc etc and he's still going strong :) So yes sister from another mister I am blessed :) xxx
Picnmix that did make me chuckle. Not me tho I'd love to :) xxx
Mrs Hayes wow I thought you were busy over the weekend and now blooming hek! It's good to have your boiler up and running tho isn't it :) Sending gentle hugs xxx
Bargain Bunny basically snowman soup is drinking chocolate and marshmallows etc and reindeer food is for sprinkling Christmas Eve so the reindeer can find their way to you (edible glitter, sprinkles and rolled oats) both of course beautifully presented. Will try and find the link for you. X

Pixitotts not sure if the above recipe is the one you are looking for but I do love being referred to as a Christmas Fairy woo hoo xxx

Freespirit you just made me lol about your rolling pin! Lol!

Well it was dd2s first full day at school so I didn't have to dash home. Nipped to morries to get the 2 for 7 quid chocs. I got heroes n roses. Wanted quality st but u get more with roses and then kids use tin for craft stuff after. They also had mint mstchmakers for 1.12 and choccie orange for a quid. So picked all those up. Tubs of cheeselets were 2 quid which I got plus 2 bags of gold coins. So all in all a good run.
Home and got to target on swagbucks. Only 300 off a 25 amazon vch now. V pleased.

Have picked up rug rats done dd1 reading book. Put a pasta bake in oven and were off to swim lessons in a bit.

Am gonna try chill out later, maybe read my book.

    Love to all

noodles What about a nice pashmina. There are some lovely patterned ones about. I am a lover of pashminas and have a cupboard full of them.

I did have a laugh when I went to catch up on my break. I typed it really quickly on my phone while walking round the shop. I never thought to proof read it.:rotfl:
Well done on working out what I meant :D

I bought 4 tins, (2 of each) and have put 1 and a half of each in the Christmas containers. The others are on the side for now. This will stop dd going on about just having one sweet. If I let her have one out of a tin the whole lot will go. This way the Christmas chocolates will be safe.

Flowfy wow DS is doing so well, you must be very proud. Of course your love and support has obviously been a great help and confidence boost too :) You don't sound grumpy just tired, least with DH home next weekend you'll have company. If you are ever south Manchester way I can always pop the kettle on and kill an hour or two chatting :) xxx

thanks Nanamia, I might just take you up on that. what a lovely offer.

well, the only night I aren't doing something, and what have I gone and done, harvested all my crab apples. 3 hours, it took me to cut them up. they are all boiled up now, so I am waiting for all the juice to drain out. then I will probably make the actual jelly, maybe after eastenders.

talk about a sucker for punishment.

OMO-Its like this in our house too!!

Nanamia- wow-u are one resilient lady (and DH of course) to have gone through so much tension and heartache and yet have come out the other side still able to come out smiling and reassuring to everyone! Wonder Woman!

Freespirit- fingers crossed for DS, hopefully DD will enjoy this position better too. I'm like that with DIY- tend to make lots of holes just for one! (Although I AM semi professional cus I have a hammer:rotfl::rotfl:)

Just ordered 2 onesies from Topman using codes from HUKD-one for DD's BF and one for DH! Cant wait to see his face when he opens it on Christmas morning!! Who says romance is dead?:rotfl:

I actually find it really annoying. Neither me or ds are like it. I could leave anything on the kitchen table, and if I tell him it's for Christmas he won't touch it. Dd on the other hand will go on and on about them.

Its the diabetic in the house- DH -who is the worst culprit of all!
DS has very sweet tooth and DD is addicted to Snickers- but they don't tend to 'pinch' sweets.
I'm more a cheese and crisps kind of girl myself! (I do love Hotel Chocolat tho!:o)

A bit premature I know, but I have been thinking about the title for next years thread.:rotfl:
    I have a favourite :D

I would post it, but it's a bit like naming a baby. Once it's born everyone excepts the name. When your pregnant everyone has an opinion, good or bad.

I may have to just keep you guessing :rotfl:
