Ooh i have just been mse lectured by DS, i decided i would do a chocolate bar xmas tree and buy chocolate that we all like instead of buying tins and the same ones get left every year BUT because they are 2 for £7 at morries i thought for that price, and asked him to pick some up and he said no mum you are not buying for the sake of it offer or no offer, you told us to stop you buying everything this year :rotfl:so i have well and truly had my wrist slapped (thing is he is right) i will still get waste even though they are cheaper i am just being sucked in again :)

Freespirit- fingers crossed for DS, hopefully DD will enjoy this position better too. I'm like that with DIY- tend to make lots of holes just for one! (Although I AM semi professional cus I have a hammer:rotfl::rotfl:)

Thankyou, funny thing is after not having a hammer for the last two years i walked out into the garage looking for a smaller nail and found (yes youve guessed right) a blooming hammer

A bit premature I know, but I have been thinking about the title for next years thread.
    I have a favourite :D
I would post it, but it's a bit like naming a baby. Once it's born everyone excepts the name. When your pregnant everyone has an opinion, good or bad.
I may have to just keep you guessing :rotfl:

OOH now that is exciting!! You are such a tease OMO
So proud of youngest son, today he took part as a tour guide for a local victorian mansion, he had to learn his lines and it contained lots of tricky words. He had to speak in front of lots of people. I couldnt be there as was teaching, however reports back said he was amazing. This is the child who has severe dyslexia and mears irlen which means he has problems reading and retaining information and who in June moved schools due to his self esteem being rock bottom.
    Proud mummy moment

CHOCCYMOUSSE that is so lovely, what a little star!!! no wonder you are so proud of him :) he must be so happy at his new school and have very caring teachers
MKGIRL lovely photos again :):):):) omg that stag is gorgeous, thankyou
HANLEY oh god it is amazing what we come up with for diy problems, i am just not practical in any way :):)
WEECLICK oh i hope it goes soon, i have a trapped nerve in my back/leg and have had it for about 5 months now, its so painful, hope your tabs work for it
ELJAYCOCK i keep getting emails from them even before the mag was released i dont know where on earth they got my address from???

I have the Ikea app and downloaded the winter book the other day. I would think they must have some bits in if this is downloadable.

I feel like Drew Barrymore in the film 50 first dates!

  • Long day today but in short DS saw a new consultant whom suspects it's cerebral palsy causing the problems with his legs so DS couldn't be fitted for the casts, he has to go back on the 28th for fitting plus specialist shoes. He also said DS will not be able to remove them for dance when the physio told him he could so that's a blow.
We did go to the craft bank after and I've rejoined so DS came away with lots of things to make whilst waiting.

Does that mean no more dance ? How is he taking it ?

I'm glad you got to the craft bank and the whole day wasn't a downer.
