Choccymoose maybe it is for the best. At least everyone knows he will stand up for himself and not to pick on him. I am sure he has learnt his lesson as has the other boy. Ds was picked on at school until he hit one of them back.0

Yeah, I hope so just gutted that he has an after school detention so early in his secondary education, I hope they don't think thats how he usually behaves, he is usually well mannered and driven by a hunger for knowledge! Fingers crossed it was teething problems'we don't stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing'0 -

They will have had his records from primary school. So they will know this is not normal. It will be fine. xx0 -
choccymoose - a similar thing happened to my son in year 7. they are experienced in all this and will find that the other boy will do it to someone else soon and he will then be the first one they will point the finger at. it is forgotton about at school very quickly. I, like you though, still think it is unfair. I was lucky that Rick had loads of older friends who knew his sister, that stepped in. he had more trouble on the bus to school than at school. he has had no trouble since year 7 and now is in year 10. if anymore happens, call the head of year. xx0

I
Struggling abit for things for DS2s stocking though. He will be almost 2 by Xmas but he tends to play with toys older than his age as he just plays with DS1s. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful! So far I have a book and some sweets! Lol
ds is the same so far I've got
hotwheel sized cars
small character ball
dinosaurs
more boats/ducks for the bath
books
sticker book
character cutlery set
washable felt tip pens & colouring book
snap cards
dominoes
choccymoose dont worry they know your son didnt start it but the zero tolerance rule does help nip things in the bud quickly.
chrissyg glad dd enjoyed her 1st day esp after the dodgy start
nanamia easier said than done I know but like the others have said you have to try not to take on anything else for nowthis year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk0 -
Alja I'm really pleased you are doing so well
are you driving too? xxx
Thank you! And yes I have been! I drove on Friday evening and gave my friend a lift to our other friend's house for the evening. I also drove to and from Mr T's on Sunday toohave been doing trips here and there and I'm sure it's helping!
I'm a bit confused by my mse account at the moment, when I go to look at my most recent posts the top one (supposedly my most recent) is one I wrote on the 26th! Very odd!
I'm loving the Christmas magazine, I've never bought a magazine like this before but it's lovely to look through!
Hope you've all had a lovely day. Off I go to catch up...0 -
Peppapig how clever are you decluttering and Christmas organising, I will have a little of what you have please xxx Really can not get cracking xxx
Thanks Nana but I think you'll find it's just that I have more time than you - I'm under threat from the family that there is to be no more decorating for the foreseeable future and my baking skills are such that nobody would ever dream of asking me to bake a cake. My skills are more on the receiving end of the baking. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Hi all
Nanamia No eggs. This is a great recipe for my house because nomatter how many eggs I buy they never last! I have used this recipe with 2 mushy bananas and also choc chip and raisin. It’s really quick and versatile. Can’t give you a “shelf life”.as they are usually gone within a day.:rotfl: I’m sending you a virtual muffin to have when you put your feet up with a cuppa after decorating
ELJAYCOCK B+M have packs of 4 or 5 mini jars of jam in. Think they were less than £2. Not cheap, I know, but you did say posh and I think they look very special on the breakfast table.
I called into the Pound shop today and bought boxes of Maltesers and After eight for kids and boyfriends/ girlfriends stockings. I got a wreath for my bathroom door as I'm decorating the bathroom this year.
I also found SNOW. :j:j:j:j:j:jIt is in a small tube and when you wet it, it swells to 100 times it's size.:D:D:DGoing to sprinkle it outside font door on Christmas Eve before me and kids (24, 20 and 18) go out to sprinkle reindeer food:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Keep at it everyone
:santa2:Start by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j
Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say
Loving de-cluttering0 -
The Perfume Shop's Christmas shop is online! The Teens category has the best prices, including a Disney Fairies EDP with a little purse for £4.99 and Moshi Monsters and Marvel Avengers sets for £6.99 which I would've loved when I was little! (can't say I'd turn down a Disney Fairies set even now
Sssh, no need to mention I'm 22 in a month...)

mrshayes I didn't manage to get my tesco order through yesterday so I sent them an email this morning explaining how the page froze. They rang me back and applied the code for me. I still couldn't get it to work so rang them back and they put the order through for me over the phone. I was very impressed with their customer services
I bought mini chocolate oranges, cadburys wishes and winter wonderland bars for the boys' stockings and christmas eve hamper from sainsbugs. We went on a onesie shopping trip yesterday for DH, ds2 and me (ds1 said no way will he wear a onesie not even in his bedroom!). We took advantage of the sainsbugs 25% discount off clothes and although they cost I am hoping they will keep us warm and we can save money on heating. ds1 will be begging us to buy him one:rotfl:
nitnurse have a missed a banana recipe? I am off to have a look back
