The framing of Greenleaf is not going as planned. Our local Range is out of white spray paint.
So I popped into Homebase, but I am not paying their prices. It was nearly double what the Range charge.
I will try and get some when I an out shopping on Wednesday.

But I did get Greenleaf a little friend called Esther. She was £12.99 and I had enough on my Nectar card to pay for her :D .She looked slightly cream, even though it says white. But if it annoys me I shall spray her :rotfl:

  • Breakfast was lovely thanks Mrs I :)
Not sure what to suggest re DSs house. If you offered to help him sort through things would he maybe be glad of the help? or would he see it as interfering? I know it's hard as I am abit of a hoarder and it took moving house for me to actually sort things out. Xx

After a dodgy start to the day [dd had a big seizure at breakfast] its turned out really well.

She managed to pull herself around and get to college on time ! She has been making garden ornaments and painting ones that had been made previously and has come back absolutely shattered , she has actually gone to bed ! very tired but happy.

This weeks tasks for me are to write all Christmas cards and although not Christmas related put the Radflec radiator stuff behind the rads .

Hope so, weve had our new house arranged since July and lost a buyer in that time!
Crowdpleaser, also great news on house completion, rotten luck about the lighthouse and hope the 'bleughs' have passed.

Have found some log cabins posh uns in New Forest so might do that. Not quite as good and more expensive but hey ho!

CHRISSYG thanks for the link. I will look on Wednesday in the Range in Ipswich, but I can't find any I will order that one.:)
I am so glad your dd has settled in at college. It must be such a relieve.

Croudpleaser if dh doesn't want to go I'll come. I'd much prefer the New Forest to the Isle of Wight.
  • I am mortified, I had a phonecall this morning from eldest ds s school. The one he has been at for all, of 3 weeks! He has after school detention due to fighting! There was an incident on friday last week, where he and another child were verbally winding each other up, the other child rugby tackled him causing him to hit his head, so my ds punched him when he stood back up! They have both have been given detention for fighting with the head of house, I back the school 100 percent but this isnt my son, he doesnt lash out for no reason and the teacher confirmed that the other child rugby tackled first grrr cant believe it! I am hoping that this will serve as a huge lesson to him and that the schools zero tolerence to violance continues as he was bullied physically in primary and never stood up for himself and the primary school were worse than useless.

Going to sit down with a cuppa and look for best prices on things for xmas.

Still need to , make the decision about the tree, anyone out there had experience of a real tree with a 11mth old puppy and a woodburner ? I never blocked off the tree with the kids and the dog will never be on his own in the lounge, but will a woodburner dry the tree out? Aghh questions questions questions ....and breathe

In june last year, it was an amazing break and we were toasty warm with the log burner.
