Morning all, just a quick one before work :)

Freespirit - hope all goes well at the docs! Thinking of you Xxx

    Amey - good luck!

Pinknfluffy - I'm sorry things are difficult with DHs children, it is sad that not only are they letting your DH down they are letting your DDs down. I think the present budget is more than generous.

Flowfy - sorry that you have had the same experience. I have 3 older half siblings from my dad and the oldest does not speak to me or him and hasn't for years. She decided when I was about 13 that she didn't like me and was horrible to me until I was 18 when I left home and we haven't had any contact since. I was always closest to my dad out off all of his children and I think she didn't like that.

Have a good day all Xxxx

    mrsinvisable enjoy your london trip
pinknfluffy sorry your having such a tough time with dh kids I know its very hard and they are at that age where they are extremely selfish and will put their plans 1st without thinking of how it affects their dad & you.I don't think that they always do it intentionally to hurt you but they often see it as well i'm not getting anything out of it(hence why they will make the effort birthdays/xmas ect) so I'd rather be with my mates so I'm not missing out.they don't see that its a big deal or how much it hurts/affect you.
I would send a polite text saying you understand that they have other plans this weekend but that the girls were disappointed that they couldn't make their birthdays but hope to see them soon.
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk
