Have they got girlfriends? If not, you can put a "pulling hamer" together for them: lynx spray, lucky pants, bottle of beer, babe magnet mug/key ring, condoms etc.?

Haha 2 out of 3 have girlfriends and the other one age 23 would have a heart attack if his auntie (fluffysox) gave him condoms lol. Great idea tho ;)

  • Hello all

I've been reading your lovely thread for a little while - I love Christmas and love getting organised early!

Just wanted to thank the person who mentioned the reindeer droppings beer - got that today for dd's boyfriends stocking!

Also, for the person making the Scottish food and drink hamper (sorry forget who that was). I live in Scotland and happened to be in a distillery today and they had absolutely loads which would be perfect including Irn Brew fudge (!!), Dundee cake in a tin etc!

I do love all your ideas, thanks for sharing x

Sharing this here cos the rest of the world won't understand lol.
DS has drank hot chocolate for the first time today (Justin, aka Mr Tumble, had some on Something Special, so he wanted to try some) Makes me very excited about Winter evenings and the lead up to Christmas. Hope it snows :)
(he is very reluctant to try anything new and won't drink milk so this is doubly exciting)

  • Weeclick , so good to see you back, you were missed. I often thought of you popping off on your lunch break to the Christmas market. I also remember those scrummy sweetie trees you made last year, I think for your nieces.

Oh no, I am also reminded of the fitbit! Mine is "safe" somewhere, unfortunately not attatched to me :o

Lol, fair enough. You could always leave those out ;) I'm doing one for my 20yr old SS. Can't wait to see his face :D

They're at a diff age, how about just a gift card for top shop? Not given us enough info...hm...adventure day out? Theme park? Gig tickets?

Thank you, DH came home early to take DD1 swimming lessons. Bless him.

Hope so, weve had our new house arranged since July and lost a buyer in that time!

Have found some log cabins posh uns in New Forest so might do that. Not quite as good and more expensive but hey ho!

If you were coming to the New Forest, you could pop by and see me down in Poole ;)

Well a sucessful day. Got the cards I was after and bought a gift for my sis in law which wasn't planned. A really lovely bangle from Debenhams. Shes difficult to buy for but I rekon she'll like it!

What I really went for was a gift to myself. Was my bday in January and friends bought me a gift card. Treated myself to a new strapless bra!!!:D Have to say the service, Boux Avenue I think its called, was fab. The lady who looked after me was not a skinny minny and she described me as 'fabulously voluptuous' was more then I'd usually pay, but the fit and service sold it to me! Now just need to get a dress for the xmas party season :xmassmile

Managed to get one freezer defrosted as well so thats one extra task done this week.

Oh and came home to find I'd got my free chocolate baileys sample. Not tried yet.:xmastree:

Now I am very sorry if this is going to make any lovely men blush, but I have a rather personal question about this strapless bra. I'm a DD and a size 8/10 - I long to wear stapless dresses and tops, but hate not feeling *ahem* secure. Does your Boux Avenue strapless cater for the greedy breasted among us? May have to save the pennies for one if it does :j

Rather mixed day today - managed to get my credit card sorted with the bank, told the poor bank assistant how to do his job as he couldn't understand why I wanted a credit card for cash over a loan (worked out cheaper interest and more flexible) :rotfl: and I also have the keys to the workshop part of my shop :D

Sadly I seem to be having one of my 'attacks' and am ticking over to the second week of not being able to breathe properly. Doctors never know what causes it, so pointless going. There is a constant pressure on my chest and I can't breathe in properly. Yawning is actually impossible, it shuts off mid yawn leaving me choking?! At night I just doze as there are times where I am literally suffocating :( Have been on inhalers, steroids and anti histamines in the past - nothing works. Am now shattered, and just want it to pass so I can get some sleep!
