    Xmas Saver!
Off shopping with bbf tomorrow. She phoned today to say it is top secret.
She has told the child minder and her partner she is working. She said she just wanted a day like the old days.
She was single for 10 years before she met her partner and had a baby. ( her other 2 boys are 16 and 17). If she tells her partner she is going out shopping he will a- phone her all day and b- tell her to take the baby to save the child minder fees. She has not told the childminder incase she lets it slip to dp.

Bless her, she is so excited.

Evening everyone! Just a friendly word of warning... I've just tried to place an order online with s*perdrug as they have free delivery at the moment, but one of the offers in my basket was only showing around a 60p-something discount when it should have been a lot more. (It was a buy one get 2nd half price offer.)

We had another item on offer in the basket area at the same time and that offer had worked out fine at the bottom of the basket page. So do check to make sure your orders add up correctly! Hope this helps!

Now I am very sorry if this is going to make any lovely men blush, but I have a rather personal question about this strapless bra. I'm a DD and a size 8/10 - I long to wear stapless dresses and tops, but hate not feeling *ahem* secure. Does your Boux Avenue strapless cater for the greedy breasted among us? May have to save the pennies for one if it does :j
    [/QUOTE]

Ha ha greedy breasted, like it! Well, thank god no one knows me:o, I'm an E and while I was in the changing room I did a little jig:rotfl::rotfl: nothing fell out!

Have now tried the chocolate bailys yum yum!

Does anyone know where root beer can be bought from? I'm trying to make a small hamper for my cousin and her partner and he likes jelly beans and root beer! Jelly beans is easy, but I looked for root beer last year and couldn't track any down.

I do believe I used to buy it from Morrisons! Hope that helps :)

    And... Happy birthday Freespirit!

Brilliant! I love christmas. My two boys' birthdays are 21st dec and 1st jan so I need to be super organised. I got my wrists slapped in july on a facebook group for sharing an offer and suggesting it could be an ideal stocking filler! hehe
In summary we are all christmas nuts :xmastree:

And this somewhere we can freely share our nuttiness, ideas bargains and hopes and dreams for christmas 2013 :)

We also attempt to be organised :)
Sure someone can give a better summary or have a look at the first post of the thread and that will give you the basic s. I love it here, everyone's nice :santa2::rudolf::xmassmile:snow_laug:xmassign::snow_grin:xmastree:

Thanks for the warm welcome. It seems like you're a sympathetic bunch so i'll throw some of my woes your way in the hope of a little cyber pampering :)
Recently resigned from teaching post to look after my two boys aged 9 months and 21 months. Youngest was born with a cleft lip and palate and had his palate repair 3 weeks ago today. Since then I've had two trips to hospital with gallbladder problems, a cancelled operation and much needed cancelled holiday to florida.
I like to look on the bright side though, no florida means I can start getting SUPER excited about xmas!! :o) i must update hot uk deals and grabbit forum 3 or 4 times a day for new deals that will save a few chrimbo pennies!!
  • Happy Birthday FreeSpirit!!!!

I'm so pleased you've had a good day and been spoilt on your birthday!

So Today went very well I think, I did both open and close on my own and we made nearly a grand, will have to wait til tomorrow to find out how well I did when my trainee manager opens in the morning, which I am also doing.

So my goals for this week is to simply survive my crazy week!

    Love and hugs to all

I've had issues with s/drug orders before. Have emailed them and it's sorted out quickly, though.

A blog I follow has a great bra fitting guide on it. Fuller figure, Fuller bust. http://fullerfigurefullerbust.com/ It's worth a read if you struggle to find bras, or if you suspect you might be wearing the wrong size.

Sympathise with the gall bladder problems. I had mine removed almost a year ago. Before that I used to be in agony frequently with no idea why and was sick a lot with it. Horrible! Hope it gets sorted out soon and sorry you missed your holiday.
