  • OMO can you add me to the list please. This weeks tasks write my lists, oops still not done them and make balsamic pickled shallots. Its the thought of standing peeling loads of shallots with tears putting me off.

Don't feel that organised, hence the need for kick up the backside! Been looking though old copies of christmas mags for ideas. Only problem is I never seem to have time to actually do most of them.

Hoping to get a few bits tomorrow, off to b&m 's for a nosey round.
  • dd1 up writhing in pain. No more sick but tummy pain. Stuck on what to do for her. I hit upon hot water bottle idea. Problem being ours are packed in storage. Desperate tex to friend living in same road and she comes over to the rescue with a lamb covered one. Seems to have helped a bit x

  • I have finished my first challenge of the week wrote a list of dinners for all normal days in december and a list of ingredients :) I have also decided to not buy the tins of chocs this year and am going to make a sweet xmas tree, saw it on pinterest and will buy packets of sweets we all love rather than having ones noone will eat, but i want it taller than the polystyrene cones so am thinking of making a cone out of a large sheet of card. DS rang earlier and has 2 days temp work as accounts admin so a bit more money before he starts his training with maccy ds :)

OMO i love your xmas reindeer and your snowman to be
CROWDPLEASER aah poor DD hope she is feeling better now
FEISTY well done you, you are already getting things back under control, very proud of you
BUNBUN sending you hugs hope you get well soon, hope DH gets some more work

Just spent a few hours infront of the tv catching up! Wow this thread is moving quickly!

My targets for this week are: 1) Buy my winter coat 2) Buy more presents so more things are ticked off the idea list 3) Make sure I have a proper list before heading to the shops so I don't buy more than intended!

I have Thursday off work purely to Christmas shop and then have a meal with my parents :)
