murie - she doesn't like being away from home really murie. I treat her too well..lol. she skypes me several times a day. she lived on campus the first year and last year and this year she is living in leamington spa with her boyfriend she met in the first year
she would still rather be home though. she misses the cats and her brother too. she speaks to dh on Skype also as he works abroad
at the moment ds wants to go to the Royal Northern College of Music which is only 40 mins from me in Manchester. this would be good as he could stay at home. we will see though, he is still only 14. things could change, or he could fail his audition etc. but I live in hope
also, she has a friend that is at Birmingham, studying Bio medical science. she loves it. so don't worry if she goes there0 -
I'm not worried about Birmingham- I did my Masters there in the dim and distant past. Just don't want her to leave home!:( I think she will miss her home comforts but time will tell!
Wish there was Skype when I was younger! (not for when I was at Uni cus me and OH brought our house just before I started as I was working too) but because I moved across to the other side of Brum from my parents and I didn't drive at that point so I missed my family a lot (big baby that I am!).
I just dread when both kids say they are moving out! I feel Nanamia 's pain when she talks about her DS in Australia!
Glad that you keep in such regular contact with your DD. Fingers crossed for your DS when the time comes that he gets his first choice place.lovin' this site!

freespirit66- we are on very dangerous ground. I am making brownies for my friend, later this week, who is going to her mother in laws and wants to pass them off as her own, lol. I always think the outer ones aren't as nice and I won't give her them so I am hoping to resist.
also. promised dh that I will make mary berrys mince pie loaf, this weekend, as he loved it last year. I hope that lasts till he gets home
I would eat the walnut whips.....they are going to call to you, until you do. just get it out of the way!!!#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -

what a day ! in a good way for a change;)
The meeting at college went really well she starts Monday , she will go there 2 days a week then hopefully to their other campus one day a week to continue with literacy and maths.
she is slightly confused as she sees it like school and cant understand what she will do with the other 2 " school days"
The person who viewed our house put an offer in and we have accepted apparently he wants it all sorted within 6 weeks which is fine by us the sooner the better:D
Although this year started very stress fully it looks like it may end on a high [fingers crossed:T]

murie you must be very proud.
Sequeena your son is adorable
CHRISSYG I'm so glad it went well today. And congrats on the house sale.
I popped into The Range after work and bought a Christmas decoration, got it home and dropped it
It can be glued as the break is clean, but still not impressed with myself.
Anyway here it is ( minus an antler and ear)
I am going to get this Snowman next week.
And for anyone doing a movie hamper that had this board. Not cheap at £6 , but thought I would post it anyway. ( ignore the price in the picture, it was for something else)0
