That is wonderful news well done your DD!
I took my son to Thomas Land on Saturday and he absolutely loved itWas hoping to get a few bits for Christmas there but it was so expensive  he has a money box, a cup and some personalised chocolate which cost £13.50. The DVDs were £13 each, the trains were £10 for little ones - ridiculous!

Murie - aw you must be so proud, and rightfully so! Well done
Snugglebunny- thank you, it was good for me to hear your story, I realize now that the children won't miss out at all, their Nana is amazing, as is my fil. They are all the grandparents they need.
Having a down day, I've been snappy & moody, but dh assures me it is nowhere near as bad, and he for one is over the moon with the meds. I guess that today is just a normal, female off day!
Omo my studio order has come and I have wrapped my neice and nephews pressies! Yeh, task completed on day 1, so my new task to self is to have all extended family pressies wrapped this week! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

Excluding the ticket (£25) I spent £20 in total. I took food with me and all of Thomas' drinks but he'd only drink ONE fruit shoot which I bought there for £1.80  I almost fell over with shock :rotfl: Guess I'm a bit of a cheap skate really :rotfl:
He was so happy when he saw Percy and Thomas and later on we even got to ride on Thomas (in clarabell)
I will pass on the well wishes, she's still in hospital as far as I'm awareWife and mother :jGrocery budget

Hi again all
Murie fantastic news about your DDs 1st! I'm sure she worked extremely hard for it and you are deservedly proud. Hope all goes well at hospital with your sister.
Snugglebunny - fingers crossed for you being offered a full time contract asap
Mrs invisible - that made me rofl, maybe you should! It will even talk to you! (Well Siri will)
Finally got to B&M and HBs today! Was impressed with B&M they had quite a lot of toys in which has given me some ideas. Also picked up some toiletry bits for mum and DH stockings (shower gel, deodorant etc) for £1 each as well as some funny mr men socks for DH and sweets. Got an angry birds money box and transformer toy for DS 1 and a set of 4 candles in jars for 1.99 all in xmassy smells which I'm keeping for me lol. Was going to get wrapping paper but had a fair bit to carry home already and I really should check what's in the loft first!
Someone was asking about furbies, sorry can't remember who but they had big cuddley ones in B&M for £6.99 which might be of some use?
Having a brew and mince pie and updating my lists while DS2 watches Mickey then off to do school run before Ds1 has swimming tonight. Will check back later XxDS 1 born 12/02/2009DS 2 born 30/01/2012Married 07/07/07xx Love my boys xx0
