Good morning morning morning morning morning :D
( I have no idea who says this, but it's stuck in my head)

Off to work this morning then to Argos to pick up new kitchen bin. I just couldn't carry it home yesterday, so the nice people in Argos extended my reservation. I must be getting old because I'm quite excited about it.:rotfl:
The lid has broken on the one we have now and it pops up on its own. Scares the berjeebers out of any one in the room. :rotfl:

I'm pushing the boat out and getting this one :D

I may also pop to Mr Ts and look at their kids films. They have quite a few on-line for £3. Hopefully they will have some in-store.

pinknfluffy I meant to say yesterday about how sorry I was about your Dad. Neither of my 2 kids are that close to mine. They were only little when my parents separated. He then moved in a woman with 4 youngish kids and mine took a back burner. Most men just can't see what they are doing. They brain is too far down their body. Sending hugs. xxx

    Morning all,
We have a meeting later today at the local college to discuss a foundation placement for dd so fingers crossed they can offer her a place !

Christmas wise she wants a goth hamper:eek: ive bought her a purple and silver plastic goblet with skulls on from the £1 shop and Ive seen some zombie blood shower gel and a coffin shaped make up bag with black make up in it .

I'm hoping to get my Christmas cards written and then send them with my nieces birthday card in a large envelope by the end of this week.

Morning all :) just a quick check in before school run. DS2 seems abit better thank you although he has given the rest of us his cold lol

*snugglebunny* well done on completing your probabtion at work. Hope you get the hours you need. I can sympathise as I'm on a 10 hour contract but need to do 19 to break even financially, fortunately my boss is very good.

*freespirit* and *Nanamia* thank you he seems perkier today

*fidget* I'm really sorry you are struggling. I'm sorry I don't know your situation regarding children and whilst it's not the same I know when we were trying for DS2 everyone I knew seemed to be pregnant and whilst I was happier for them it was hard. I still get that pang now as we won't have any more (DH says no) but I am obviously so greatful for the 2 I have. It sounds like you have been proactive with resolving the work situation, hope alls ok. Big hugs Xx

    :rotfl:Another epic read!!

Off to the hospital with my sis today- she is starting a clinical trial (hopefully) for her ridiculously high cholesterol levels. She has been on tablets for 14 years and they are progressively making her life a misery with joint pain. its not because she is 'fat' but just a little chunky as I like to call it. Her consultant is hopeful that there is something new out that she can try-fingers crossed cus she is only 43.

OMO- can you put on a list for me that I am DEFINATLEY going to try to wrap 3 advent calendars pressies (73 tiny gifts in total!) I make advent calendars for my family, (4 of us), DS's GF, DD'S BF, mom and sister and I HATE wrapping them! I don't mind bigger pressies but these are all small and its 'orrible! I usually put them off til November then its a mad rush to get 192 done!!!

Fiesty- I agree with everyone on here-try not to have too many plates spinning at once _hard I know but some things are controllable and others will play out as they will- you cant change things out of your control. I feel for you about your friends pregnancies- we 'tried' for 6 years after having my DS ( a horrendous pregnancy) with numerous tragedies before we had our DD. I have endometriosis and a low progesterone level so couldn't support a pregnancy. It was heartbreaking so I know how you feel. BUT -things do work out in the end- we found we were pregnant with our DD and went full term after many many false scares. When the time is right, and you are both more settled health wise, time wise and emotionally then as Nana says-who knows what may happen?

OMO- My sis's eldest has Asperger's (as does her husband), and as he gets older he is developing a much stronger sense of awareness of his peers and surroundings, and whilst its never been easy in her home he does come out with some crackers and is becoming more 'family' orientated. He's 17 in October and I genuinely feel that he has become less stressed by things as he has been encouraged by school to become more 'mainstream'.
Your son sounds a credit to you (in fact everyone's offspring on here seem to be a credit to them from what I read!) I'm incredibly proud of my two- think its something to do with having Christmas obsessed parents by any chance cus that the recuring theme here!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    lovin' this site!

everyone is starting to look so orgainsed and focused.
my main priority at the mo seems to be crafting, ive agreed to do a charity craft fayre at end of november so am busy trying to make stock for that. once its done and over with hopefully my crafting cupboard will be a bit lighter and look more orgainsed and ill have time to focus directly on my christmas things.
think our kids will mostly be having money towards something bigger or have already told us what they'd like but stockings fillers are well in hand and shopping lists are being added to.

OmO id like to join the weekly goals please and will make mine to complete at least 10 more items for the craft stall.

  • Just popping in quickly. Made a start on making my Christmas stock this weekend, as well as finishing 9 card orders. I've got an order for a massive stationery Order, needing finished by end of October which is very short notice, so everything else is on hold until then!
