And mention your migraine they've been very much in the news this week haven't they so they'll be a hot topic amongst GPs. Feistys words were beautiful
you know I'm no good with words but I can second hers

Junior_J welcome back
lets hope that this Christmas is magical and makes up for the last one. Any danger of you being hospitalised and we'll break you out SAS style
Chrissy awww my lovely. As others have already said you've done the right thing. How you waited till daylight this morning I will never know. I'm so glad that your DD is back home where she belongs and that she's catching up on her sleep. Hope you sleep well tonight too. Blooming typical that they couldn't just transfer what you were due! If staff attitudes had ve been different that may just have made the difference to DD. Amazing how the ground floor room mysteriously became available too! Argh. Is it something she could go back to do next year or the year after? Sending big hugs to you all xxx
Feisty and Mr Feisty it makes me so mad that things suddenly begin to happen in instances like this. Argh. I'm glad somebody is finally listening and hope that the out come for DH was positive today and that he's now going to be treated as he has always deserved. And how did your meeting go???? You've so much to think about xxx

Princess excited to hear what you found in HB. Was in there the other day on the first aisle and got a phone call from DD who had taken DGD2 back to the car with DH - to be told I'd better get back to the car pretty quick else I'd be walking home!!! Cheek of the DH, DGD2 was having a tantrum and he was grumpy
Pinknfluffy I bet you are feeling so relievedIm envious of your shopping spree too. I've never been to the range so I'm eager to hear what you managed to find

Nana we all need days like that
Helps keep that BD at bay! So please don't feel bad.
Msgigglewick I love those elves!
In the feisty household things didn't go according to plan yesterdayHad the shock of my life when I got in from business meetings expecting to be alone (MrF was supposed to be at the hospital next county over) and he was home! Apparently consultant phoned back to discuss symptoms etc and he said it is pointless coming to the appointment as they wont be able to diagnose without a MRI - he's promised an emergency appointment for this (within 2 weeks?!) but consultant is now off on holiday so MrF needs to see a colleague - I'm sensing trouble ahead
Solicitor were supposed to call by the end of the week, they haven't
Business was initially advised to be 5k, then closer to 5k, and now 7k with the possibility of it being less if more stock is sold - heart is saying go for it (if I can get them down to 5k) but head is telling me to keep crunching the numbers.
In reality regardless of me buying the business we aren't going to meet our deposit target - so unless our flat goes up a considerable amount we will have to think of a plan B - my heart is telling me to buy the business to cheer me up as this is a bit of a blow.
Off for the final outdoor craft fair of the year. I am hoping to make back my pitch £12.50 and nothing elseI wanted to pull out (after last terrible fair) but as I was stall sharing with another lady it didn't seem fair.

*sending lots of hugs to Feisty and Mr Feisty* what a horrible day for you both! I absolutely hate dealing with solicitors, Ive deleted my solicitor rant as its too early for ranting ...needless to say in all dealings weve had they never ever ring back when they say they will, and why do they do EVERYTHING via 2nd Class Royal bl0ody Mail!? we have email in 2013 you know!! *shuts up*
I really hope they get the MRI sorted fast, they clearly know about your legal action now so they will be shooting themselves in the foot by making things worse surely? everything crossed for you xxx
NIC Im SO sorry about the job honey, I know what a horrible disappointment that is, sending you lots of love - it's their loss not to have you, your even better dream job will be round the corner xxx0 -
Morning all
typical the one day I get a bit of a lie in Ive got to be up to take DD somewhere, working all weekend, then have overtime 3 days next week which is great ... though I can't get too excited as God only knows how much tax I will lose off it!!!
Re the dress code, I know - its very difficult as you want to support the school rules etc etc, but it's getting a bit silly now, its more tight than the uniform is! DD says that they can't let one person wear a low cut top, sleeveless top, cropped trousers (why the hell not!?) because if that slips through un noticed the nature of teenage girls is that they will all start doing it and then say 'well she did! I think personally they are starting off harsh as they claim standards slipped previously, so they know there will be some 'slippage' so are going oveboard. Im not buying 2 more suits, she can mix and match and be done, people have commented to me how smart she looks - she can wear the cropped trousers with boots in the winter - they wont see them will they!! trouble is it makes you cross and you start to look for ways they can wear what you have bought ... I didnt think it was the parents who were meant to rebel against the school!
anyone able to tell me what the evil is in sleeveless tops by the way?! only thing I can think of is bingo wings ... but not at 16-18!if they are under a jacket how will they know?? *makes note to buy sleeveless top*
one day this week they inspected them as they filed out of the hall and sent those back in that didnt comply in order to tell them what they were wearing that was wrong ... hush my mouth! *mutters*0 -
wow! anyone else realise that from yesterday Ebay are charging sellers 10% fees on your postage and packing charge on top of the seller fees for the item? so if (like me) you charge p+p at cost you are 10% out of pocket! thats a bit of a swizz if ever I heard one ... they say its to encourage people to give free p+p .. how exactly?? firstly who can afford to do that?? and 2nd it will have the opposite effect as I will now have to add 10% to my p+p costs so surely it pushes them up!?0

The superdr*g Christmas shop is now open!
Thanks for the heads up!
CHRISSYG glad to hear your daughter is backwith you, she must be relieved!
Hi stephyt23! Welcome.
Hello ellie9ellie! Welcome back! You’ve justreminded me that I have a couple of magazine stashed away, I might have to getthem out for a bit of early inspiration!
Please do go and see someone freespirit, you don’t want it getting worse.I second Nanamia!
Great elvesmsgigglewick. You’ve obviously got agood talent with knitting. I knitted when I was younger – but I could only evermake scarves! :rotfl:
Blimey snugglebunny that dress code is reallystrict! I’ve never heard anything like it (but then I don’t have kids at themoment!), I hope you manage to get something sorted out. Yes I heard about the ebay fees going up, i'm reluctant to put anything on there now as the things I have to sell will probably make hardly anything after all the fees have been taken out!
Welcome fevertotell! Don’t you worry aboutspending less on presents, people will have to learn that it’s the thought thatcounts. Congratulations on your impending wedding, I got married this year andboy can it turn out expensive! You just do what you can this year, they willhave to lump it!
Nic2075 sorry to hear you didn’t get yourdream job, it’s always disappointing when that happens. Keep your chin up, as Peppapig has said I like to thinkeverything happens for a reason and hopefully something else will be justaround the corner. X
Peppapig you’re post wasn’t boring! If yourswas then so is mine.
Nanamia I would have been most put out! Surelya tantrum does not rule over a shopping trip in HB????And don’t beat yourselfup, everybody needs times when they sit in their pj’s watching TV or snoozing.
Feisty sorry to hear things didn’t go toplan with DH, I do hope someone does step up and get this sorted for you soon.Hopefully the colleague doing it will be professional and understanding andcarry out what is needed soon. You have to go with your gut instinct with thebusiness, you did say you were looking to expand a while back you wereconsidering a shop so this could have come up for a reason. Good luck with thecraft fair.
