    Happy Birthday Ruth!

OMO how lucky that no-one died! Hope you manage to get some rest x

Has anyone ever made their own cider? Am quite tempted to make it up for some presents, but not sure how expensive it would be?

FF it would be cheaper to buy cider. It really is not hard to make. But you will need a fermenting jar and a gravity meter reader .
    Here is a video.

Happy birthday Ruth_Honey hope you've had a good day :)
As always Springdreams loving your avatar you are so clever. Where have you been we've missed you xxx
Oh my word Linky thank heavens everybody was safe. Hopefully you'll be feeling better tomorrow :)
Nic I wish somebody would explain to my DH that it's not necessary to have the central heating on in June! I haven't checked with him (cos he's in charge of the heating) but I doubt we've had a single day without it being on argh He really feels the cold and I am usually at melting point. Glad you got your car sorted, it's such a pain when the MOT comes round isn't it.
Feisty can't help with the cider but the skittles vodka was a huge success when I did it the year before last.
Trendy you better had catch up tomorrow, I'll be checking :) xxx
Freespirit I'm shattered so won't be able to stay awake much longer. Hope you are ok xxx

Hello Nanamia *waves* - thank you for your concern, and glad you are still liking the avatar :D

I've been here lurking and keeping up with all the news. Also been reading all the other Christmas threads. And have read all the nappy cake threads from beginning to end as my SIL is expecting twins in August, so my sister and I are throwing her a baby shower and have also made her a number of nappy cakes - will post photos after the event (7 July) as I don't want to spoil the surprise.

I've even ordered a papercut for the baby shower from Feisty - and very nice it is too :j

Currently on the hunt for a free knitting pattern for a winnie the pooh cuddly and/or eeyore as my other SIL wants to knit a pair for the twins, so if anyone knows where I can find one it would be much appreciated.

Also decluttering at home as my DS (12) and I will be doing some car booting. Never sold at one before, so have also been reading car booting threads here, there and everywhere to get some tips on the does and don'ts - I could now write a whole book on the topic! My DS and I are going on a scouting trip today to the local car boot to get more info from the horses mouth so to speak. ;)

I have also been doing loads and loads of surveys to try make Christmas money neutral this year if possible - I have £300 in Amazon vouchers so far.

    Keep well everyone :)
