Gettingtherequickly ooooooh I've been drooling over your wonderful description wow. I would love the opportunity (can't see it ever happening) but thank you so much for sharing, that's about as near as I will ever get. Can't complain obviously I'm just spoilt in different ways:) It's probably a good job ready as I don't do fish or lamb! I'd have been very embarrassed. It sounds so delightful I feel like I was a fly on the wall:) thank you xxx
Trendy sounds fab and a bargain, if you are anything like me you'll feel a little easier cos its weekend, so please look after yourself xxx
Princess I had a little giggle to myself CBAitus is clearly something you don't need to worry about :) I've employed diversion tactics all day today to avoid what really needs doing! One cake to be done by tomorrow lunch time is made (thankfully) rested but not butter creamed, iced or decorated cake two is also made but that's all and it's for Sunday morning! There are bags and bundles of things all over my house, to take with us I think but I'm in danger of featuring in a hoarders documentary :( I've no lists yet thought get cakes done first but who knows. DGD2 is having a sleepover tonight so she's just had an extended bedtime bath and lots of fun :) All tucked up now hopefully till the morning, DH is fishing so late tea for us then Big Brother which I'm already addicted too :) xxx

Have just seen on the BBC website that the chef there has been given a gong, if she was the one cooking on Thursday night, and suspect that she may have been as some of the diners did go into the kitchen (decided 5 of us going in would not be a good idea), my goodness she deserves it:D:D

Gosh it's soggy out there! Cold too, I'm tempted to put the heating on, but I refuse to have it on in June.

Had a busy week getting car MoT'd and working.

Love the paper cut Fiesty x

I have a heap of jars I've saved through the year. I buy the Asda finest conserve whenever it's down to £1. The jars are hexagonal and nothing written on the lid, so lovely to resuse. I plan to make chilli jam again this year and hopefully bramble jam come Autumn.

Still haven't court up. Didn't get home until 5.30 this morning. Am just shattered.
A Bentley in front of me lost control in the middle lane while overtaking a lorry. He hit the central reservation and then went straight over all 3 lanes. He missed the lorry that swerved but hit the car in front if it. I have never seen a car in so many small mangled pieces. The doors came off and disintegrated. I drove over the side window but managed to miss all the crumpled metal. And nobody died. :)

Thankfully I had a sleeping bag in the boot, so dd went to sleep on the back seat. I just sat there for just over 3 hours ready a book on my iPad.

I will catch up, but the words just aren't going in at the moment.
