    Xmas Saver!
I made my 2013 Christmas list on Boxing Day 2012. :rotfl:
I didn't go that far back, didn't realise I was that organised.

I still have all my pictures, they are just not on here anymore because I moved them into albums in photo bucket. :o

Forgot to mention, I have a new job. My landlord phoned me and asked if I had any free hours for his Mum.
Am meeting him on Monday to work out what she needs.

I knew I would cover the hours I just lost at some point, but not this quickly. :D

ETA. Have just got a bit excited about seeing Les Mis on Friday and booked tickets to see Wicked in August !!!!!!!!

    Evening all!

Hope you lovelies are all well. After a gentle prod I've realised I've been rather AWOL just lately, I'm sorry.

So I applied to become supervisor at work, and things were going well, until my dad got completely off his face was sick which woke me up and I had 2 hours sleep the night before the interview and had a migraine for the interview I was amazed I made it through the day without vomiting and still did stocktake despite feeling rotten, and basically I didn't get it because they felt I didn't really open up and answer the questions as fully as I could have. So suffice to say I was and still am abit furious with Dad.

I have an appointment with my rhuematology consultant in August and I feel like he is going to give me bad news, I've now got eye drops for when my eyes are dry which is most of the time, but I've been too scared to try them, my hands and skin in general are so dry at the moment, did I tell you I'm basically displaying the symptoms of lupus but without the blood work to prove it.

I've not done anything yet for Christmas, and my credit card bill is through the roof no matter how much stuff I ebay.

OMO I'm proud of you for quitting your job, sometimes the money isn't worth the pettiness and stress

FIESTY you are not a crap wife hubby is as stubborn as a mule, remember a couple of weeks ago when you wanted him to call about those twinges and he wouldn't, you are doing so well.

NANAMIA I love hearing your Grandma tales, I have no Nans left so it's nice for me.

    Love and hugs to all

Please use the drops. I suffer with dry eye syndrome. My eyes were so bad one morning that I (don't read if squeamish) ripped the top layer of my eyeball off when I pulled my eye lid back. I spent the next 6 hours in a head brace in hospital with both my upper and lower lids rolled back, while they put drops in every 20 minutes. My eye bleed so badly I had no vision for nearly 3 weeks. x

Oh Feisty my lovely, how has DH gone on today? Have you managed to visit? What did you do about work? Yes yes stop me I have turned into an interogator! Oh my word !!!! wife my ar@e what are you like. You have been nothing but supportive, DH immune systems will have been at rock bottom, he'd have been open to infection and scared to cough properly to clear his chest cos it would hurt:( A few days IV antibiotics and he'll be as good as new :) and he will get the once over he blooming well needed too! I do hope you heard our nagging voices and have been kind to yourself :) Please take care and have time for you too xxx
Trendy how has today been? Get you girl, talking Linky through calming excersises :) xxx
Linky what a difference 24 hours makes, go girl. Lets hope this is the start of something great :) On the Christmas front, I will need a very stiff talking too and a great deal of organising come mid August ! You up for it? xxx
Caitlyn you and Princess are our glass half full girls:) never annoying, please don't change but know it can be very tiring trying to keep it up! Make sure you have time for yourself and the new Mr Caitlyn xxx
Mrsgigglewick off to google the elves you mentioned, my mind is boggling ha ha x
Ameyturtle has Linky been nudging you? Ha ha , anyway it's good to see you back but you do sound so fed up. Argh about the job, maybe something perfect is just around the corner- you never kno. I do hope your consultants appointment brings positive news, try the eye drops you may feel much better with them. I don't know anything about lupus I'm afraid but I'm always around, or one of us is if you feel like a chat :) As for my Nana tales that made me chuckle :) Both DGDs have managed to bring a tear to my eye today, I must be over emotional :) xxx
Freespirit in a strange way, hearing that you can't be ar@ed either is a comfort to me :) I've got two cakes to do over the weekend so maybe Monday I might get a spurt on :) Shellac still looking good, I'm amazed really, DD has just ordered some for my birthday so DDiL and I can have a play whilst I'm away :) xxx

In other news in the Nanamia household, serious case of can't-be-ar@ed-itus. Tomorrow I may attempt a list, and get my brain in order. I wonder what Mrsinvisible is up to, hope she's having an amazing trip and lots and lots of cuddles:) Yesterday (Tuesday) after play group DH and I went off to buy some of the bits to take over, trainers, sandals clothing etc, I've been buying the medicines they've asked for bit by bit so thing they are covered. Starting to feel as though its actually real now and was getting quite excited :) Spent the morning this morning on FaceTime with DS and family, DGD1 had been crying for her Nan :( she has a chest infection and was feeling grotty and wanted a cuddle:( Really hard to be 10,000 miles away at a time like that. Still we had a good chat and read a few books etc, talked about what we are going to do together and what should go in my suitcase :) Can not wait to go now
Then called to see DGD2 aww what a cutie she is too, DD has started toilet training today :) DGD2 also says the most moving things, think I might be over emotional ha but they've both had me sniffling today!

Thanks for all your encouragement and support re neighbour from hell, think I'm over it now :) But you are right Freespirit it has taken a few days. XxX

Thank you everyone :) DH discharged himself yesterday (nightmare, stubborn mule!) but I allowed it because we live literally five minutes from the hospital, they wanted to keep him in for observations and just one more IV of antibiotics, and he had so little sleep he was starting to get rather stroppy with the staff (he claims they were incompetent and brushed off his major heart problems as minor). He is still running a temperature, but he looks/feels much better and has two large doses of antibiotics to see him through. I had to explain to work that I wouldn't be in again, so I think I can safely say that they wont be extending my placement come August :( Back in today though as MIL will be round to husband-sit ;)

Msgigglewick, have just googled the elves - so cute! Thank you for the countdown - I get to start stocking some Christmas things in my shop next month as the Yankees do Christmas in July sales (now that's organised!)

Princess I do hope Amsterdam was lovely? Have always wanted to go but DH isn't a traveler lol

OMO you do make me chuckle - I distinctly remember chatting on the 'old' thread on Christmas day. I know you had a rotten day of it (evil troll lady on here) and so I'm not surprised it was so close to Christmas that you were planning the next - as I recall a few of us felt a little let down by the festivities - that is why I'm so organised this year as my disappointment was led by rushing around like a loon and not enjoying it! Fantastic news on the job front, what will it be doing?

Freespirit I am going to give some advice now that I struggle to follow myself, but am really going to try! Don't feel bad when CBA strikes - it is the universes way of telling you to stop trying to be superwoman and just enjoy the now ;) Life is a serious of events and if you rush/stress through them, how will you ever enjoy it? ;)

Amey - you poor thing :( It's not the end of the world though, I am sure your hard work and dedication will show through and you will be a shoo in for the next promotion! So glad you remembered about those twinges as it turns out that was his lung collapsing, don't feel so guilty now! Oh and you better use those drops - I have two highly strung Chihuahua's and I am not afraid to use them! You will be licked into submission ;)

Nana I too am fond of your stories, never fail to make me smile :) Not long now and you will be back in the land of Oz - can't wait to see those photo's of the cakes too :) I'm glad that you are getting over the horrid neighbour incident x

Today is a new day! I plan to focus on what I have (instead of what I don't) and what I've done (rather than what I haven't) ;)
